The United Federation of the Federal Union

Is an interstellar Federal state of more than 14 systems that occupies a region of the Milky Way that is over a thousand light years west from Sol. The Federation systems and assorted governments are unified under a goal of mutual defense, Peaceful exploration, cultural understanding, economic expansionism, and self improvement both technological and social.

The Old Federal Union, the old federal Union was a representative republic much like the current federation is. It started as a free and open society and remained so until its fall how ever the political process was deadlocked the CoDomunim party took control of the old federal senate, and asserted single party power, the executive branch power in the nation was all but dissolved, and general elections were indefinitely postponed, It had turned in to an almost communist state ran by the CoDomunim, the seeds of the new Federation were Sewn in FY -180 when an economic upheaval and income inequality rose sharply toping a five hundred percent increase, to worsen the situation the personal security acts were imposed by the party, limiting personal freedom and giving police excessive controls and power or judge and jury. To even worsen the fact protests and freedom of speech was being eroded severely, government had subverted major media outlets and restricted protesters to free speech zone witch vanished soon enough. In FY -100 over eighty years of repression economic instability and economic inequality had ravaged the country, military spending was on the rise and poor foreign policy lead to countless wars and attacks around this time visionary philosopher s with new ideas had begun spreading. Pamphlets and ideas circulated around the countries detached poor citizens and groups of dissenters, with in 60 years it was widely known that a rebellion would be under way soon; the governments propaganda was being layered on thick then ever as concerns grew. In year FY - 40 the faulty foreign polices of the corrupted government had finally became catastrophic disaster, the government had implemented a sort of gun boat diplomacy again the planet mars in sol, the result was a collation of hostile nations declaring war against the federal union, the threat of mass invitation from these powers prompted the government to put the country under utter marshal law when the battle entered in to core federal space in FY – 38 Rebellions where sparked, riots anarchy and the like followed, the capitol on Terran prime was taken by rebel forces following formation for a final strike over the capitol, the CoDominuim government had finally fallen, and so to it a hostile chaotic chapter in Union history. In FY -30 The United Federal Republic was founded this was the intermediate state between the federation and the CoDominuim, it was a planetary entity spanning the Terran prime system, it was an unorganized body at first and very unruly it had been the first governing body of the system since the fall of the CoDominon, it was greeted with many open arms in the system, it was Representative Republican - democracy. It began exploring its neighboring star systems discovering multiple systems still in anarchy and others with formed deposit or genocidal governments. In FY -28 a cold war started between Torm and Terran prime, military build ups on both sides where constantly raging and threats of war soon loomed in FY – 18, a raid by the Dominion of Torm in to Republican space, this sparked a massive war in witch both sides took heavy losses, by the year FY -2 The Dominion was defeated, the Torm system was over taken by republican forces and marines, marking the end of a pusdo civil war.

The Founding of the federation When the newly formed republic of Torm and the Federal Republic of the Union Joined in unison as one state, from this one state ideas Philosophy and social improvement became common place, it would take a few years for this to reach the other systems, by FY - 1 over 14 systems had received these ideals and this Philosophy, the united federation of planets FY 00, founding day was the most important date in Federation history, by this date all 14 systems had been integrated with these ideas, a meeting of these systems were called in Tyrin, over two thousand people attended the ceremony, that ceremony marked the begging of the new united federation of the federal union. The fundamentals of the union remain, under a goal of mutual defense, Peaceful exploration, cultural understanding, economic expansionism, and self improvement both technological and social, and to prosper and eliminate war and poverty amongst its own people and to crate a future for generations to come.

Economics: The United Federation of the Federal Union has a massive economic free enterprise system, while society nor cooperation’s alike have a driving force of profit and greed, money is essential to trade and productivity. While the populace has access to free replicators to produce basics and, housing, to afford luxuries they must feed the engine of economy free enterprise and trade.

Military: Starfleet, Starfleet command and Starfleet are the primary defense and offensive force of the united federation of the Federal union; it’s also the primary arm of exploration and assistance in some cases. Star fleet has around 1500 active vessels; it’s broken down in to 300 capitol ships and 1200 escort and frigate class ships. Incorporated in to star fleet are 3000 fighters and bombers, this is known as the star fleet fighter command, or SFC, the SFC handles the Star fleet marine fighter corps and there own SFC personnel. Marine fighters number around 2000 only select carriers and planets have detachments of these elite forces, while the 3000 fighters of the SFC are spread throughout the fleet. Star fleet also has a force of 500,000 elite trained marines spread around the fleet and in some detachments un-deployed. They have many advanced weapons and power amour, and ground vehicles.

Regular army: The Regular Federation army consist of volunteer troops and people, it numbers around eight million strong including logistics. The army is the normal ground force and it has its own combat transports, it utilizes Starfleet transports as well, it is well armed and well trained but not as elite as marines. They can quickly establish bases with MCV’s and industrial replicators

Fighter reserve corps: the Fighter Reserve corps or FRC is the main aerospace force in witch the union defends its planets or assigns to carriers, its fighters are generic but state of the art space superiority and fighter bombers, the FRC is utilized in generic missions they’re wings and squadrons can be attached to carriers in Starfleet.

Weapons The Dimensional phaser: the Dimensional phaser is a type of advanced phased weapons utilizing a different style of multi phasing the weapon phase shifts phased particles in and out of normal space drawing back and forth energy, this increases there power greatly, Dimensional phasers are mounted on capitol ships, shuttles and fighters, the largest dimensional phaser is the type X mounted star base phaser. The Type IX is the most powerful ship mounted one and is mounted on the enterprise class ship. The are fairly powerful warships, it is proven that a burst from a type VI Dimensional phaser can dig a marinas trench sized gouge on a planet, while later versions are more powerful.

Photon torpedoes: Photon torpedoes fall in to multiple classes, the simple description is a Anti matter warhead lunched from a ship at FTL or sub light.

• Type I photon torpedoes: mounted on frigates and smaller war ships this type of photon torpedo has an 5 - 8 Gigaton yield, while small war ships have both impressive phaser armament they are always supplemented by these types of photon torpedoes
• Type II Photon torpedoes: Type II photon torpedoes are far more powerful than Type I and are mounted on light cruisers to battle ships alike, it has an 8 – 11.5 Gigaton yield, and it used greatly on larger ships, it uses advanced compression methods to store the anti matter with in a ball surrounded with non reactive anti gravitons to compress it. The Defiant class while an escort is armed with this type of torpedo.
• Type III Photon torpedoes: Type III photon torpedoes are mounted on star bases and star fortresses and are the most powerful type of photon torpedoes to exist. The Yielding on this type of torpedo grasps around 16.6 Gigatons of fire power
• Quantum torpedoes Quantum torpedoes utilize zero point energy, the warhead uses highly compressed ZPE, and the energy released in an explosion is grater than the most powerful photon torpedo in existence
• Type I Quantum torpedo: Is rated more powerful than a Type III Photon torpedo the Type I quantum torpedo is put on small war ships as well and on heavy war ships, it is rated at a 19 Gigaton yield and is one of the most powerful torpedoes in service.
• Type II quantum torpedo: This is mounted on super heavy ships and heavy star bases it is rated at a 22.5 Gigaton yield and is currently the most powerful conventional torpedo in service with star fleet.
