The Inspection Incident
On September 7, Eternian Year 25, a group of inspectors from the Most Serene Republic of the Aes-Sedai, who were trying to ensure that Liilte China was oeying the treaty that ended the War of Liilte Aggression, were taken hostage by the government of Liilte China. Liilte China demanded that the treaty's restrictions be canceled.
Within a week, the Confederacy sent a team in to rescue them. Liilte China denounced this as an act of war, and immediately declared war against the Confederacy.
The Founder's Day Attack
On May 9, EY 26, Founder's Day in the Confederacy, Liilte China launched a massive offensive against the Confedracy. The invaded with 300,000 men and all of their tanks in an all or nothing offensive. The Liiltens took the forces at the border by surprise. The offensive managed to surround the city of Eternos. Liilte China began to besiege the city.
The Siege of Eternos
Liilte China began to build air bases to support their bombers and fighters; however the superior UDFCLMW Aerial Division was capable of keeping them from doing much harm to the city of Eternos.
In addition, the 300,000 men of the UDFCLMW Infantry Division were capable of preventing the Liilten army from taking the city. Unfortunately, it took until August 15, EY 26, until the UDFCLMW was capable of breaking the seige in the battle of Eternos. After the battle, and the Liilten retreat which ensued, the Liiltens sustained heavy casualties.
Eternos was left badly damaged, but the capitol building was still standing after the siege.
Escalation
During the siege, the UDFCLMW decided that they needed to become serious in this war, since they were unsure of the Liilten intents before the attack. On June 21, EY 26, the Grayskull carrier group set sail for the city of Liilte Hong Kong, to blockade it from the mainland. They arrived there around the same time as the siege of Eternos was broken.
The CNS Grayskull began to launch it's planes to bomb the city. Once initial bombing was completed, an Infantry group was brought in. They met little resistance in the city, and it was captured before the end of August.
Stalemate
As the siege army was being pushed out of the Confederacy, a secret Liilten army, which was in complete violation of the treaty ending the War of Liilten Aggression, came up to meet them, creating a stalemate at the original border, with neither side capable of proceeding, and the two air forces preventing the other from heavily bombing enemy lines.
Breaking the Stalemate
The stalemate was broken in EY 29, nearly three years after it began, when a secret aircraft from the Confederacy' HAWC, the B-10z Lancer, dropped two XBF20k bombs on the Liilten army, wipping out nearly 90% of the men with the shockwave, and crippling the entire countries will to fight. After this was finished, the UDFCLMW reinitiated it's bombing campaigns, dropping EMP weaponry onto Liilten cities.
Surrender
Five days after the loss of all electronics in all major Liilten cities, Premier Kang was assasinated by the son of the original leader of Liilte China, Ching Liilte, Jr., who asked for peace with the Confederacy.
The treaty signed between the two reaffirmed the early treaty and required Liilte China to leave it's military exactly where it was, and allow troops from both the Confederacy and Neo-Rus to inspect any portion of the military. In addition, the Confederacy retained control of the city of Liilte Hong Kong.
