The Nation of Darth Mathius came into existence at the end of the Great Revolution in early 2005; replacing The Gnomish Vales (which was found in the region known as The YoungWorld and has since ceased to exist) as the head and home of all gnomish people.
The Gnomish Vales was controlled by Pope Christopher IV, who was deposed in the great revolution.
