The Imperial Race
Known as Imperials to the rest of the world. they have built an empire that has lasted 2,000 Years. They are known for their skills as light infantry and are well educated.
The Birth of the Empire
It all began when the Island city-state of Cyrodil fell into anarchy. The King had died leaving no heir and soon the city was filled with riots and political factions fighting for dominence. the city was doomed to be destoryed. soon one man Cassius Currio fought his way to the top of power in Cyrodil. He declared himself Emperor and his family has ruled for 200 years.
The Age of Tiber Septim
Tiber Septim is considered the greatest ruler of the Empire to date. He was the first of the Septim line. He gained power when the last of the Currio line had died without an heir. He was the closets living relative of Poutus Currio Emperor of Cyrodil. Tiber Septim began to build up the cities arimes and had plans for expansion. He Conquered what is know the province of Cyrodil in the empire in one month. he soon set his eys in all directions. he fought in many battles and he conquered all of the Provinces of the modern Empire. Soon only one power was left on the Continent. The Lizzard People of the Black Marsh. Tiber Knew that these people where no match for his armies on a field but they where the best gorrilla fighters in the world. So he signed a peace agreement to place the Kingdom of the Black Marsh underneath Imperial Protection but Lizzard governece. So The Empire Dominated all of the Contient of Tiberia (Named after Tiber Septim, Original name is unknown.) After a 80 year reign Tiber Septim became sick. he soon would become to ill to govern the Empire. 20 years after signing the peace with the Lizzard People he died. It is said that for 10 days it rained as Tiberia mourned for its greatest Ruler. he was soon after delcared a living God and he is know worshiped as the God of the Empire.
Revolt of the Orcs
the orcs are a tall people native to the Province of High Mountain in the empire. After 200 years of Imperial Dominence the Orcs became tired of being ruled by the Emperor. They revolted and killed the Imperial Governer of the Province. As soon as Word reached Cyrodil The Emperor Sextus Septim Ralleid his armies to fight. The orcs where crushed and that was the first and Last rebellion in the Empire. Today 100 years later restrictions are still placed on the orcs as a warning to all that think of defiying the Empire.
the Imperial People
The Imperial People are a happy people. They have the ablity of free trade and lordship over all of the conqured peoples. They are protected by the Imperial Legions and the Blades (Imperial Spies) They comprise most of the Army but are often thought of as arrogent. They Love Gladiatorial Combat. The biggest Arena is In Cyrodil and it is Called the Septima (after the Septims). It Seats at least 500,000 People and the Emperor is present on Important days.
Imperial Law
Simply, don't fight, don't kill, don't steal, and you have the right to defend yourself if attacked not if you are attacking. Imperials Are the only ones allowed to purchase artifacts of certain cultures.

The Offical religion of the Empire consits of the worship of 9 Major gods
Akatosh- god of time. Cheif god of the Nine Divines embodies the qualities of endurance, invincibility, and everlasting legitimacy.
Kynareth- goddess of air, associated with rain
Dibella- goddess of Beauty
Julianos- god of wisdom and Logic
Arkay- God of the Cycle of Life and Death
Zenithar- God of Work and Commerce, Trader God
Mara- Goddess of Love

The Imperial Legion
The Imperial Legion is the Military of the Empire. they keep order and conquer New lands for the Empire. A single legion consits of 80,000 men.
The Blades
The Blades are the secret police of the Empire. they eliminate all of the rivals of the Emperor and keep watch on the villagers. It is said that one out of every five people is a memeber of the blades and they have no knowledge of each other. they only know the sypmaster.
