My Nation is based on an amazing game my Bethesda Softworks, and the link to it's official site is can be found at the bottom of the next section.

The Game

I feel it is neccesary that if I am going to talk about my nation, I should talk about the game, so here goes. Morrowind is part of the Elder Scrolls Series, which are single-player RPG's that focus heavily on freedom and permit you to do practically anything within the game. Just choose how you want to make a living, and then try to do what you have chosen the best you can! You can pursue a life in crime or even assassination! Usually, however, you will become some sort of trader or you could just go around killing stuff for money. Although it may sound like an MMORPG, the characters in the game are NPC's and are not run by other people but by highly complex AIs.

My Nation

The Kingdom of Morrowind-Solstheim is divided between 2 ministates, the mainland, (Vvardenfel) and a small island off the Northwest coast (Solstheim). Nobody has ever met the Emporer, but his guards are spread throughout the numerous cities in the country. Because of this, the closest thing that the land has to a leader is the patron religious figure, Vivec who dwells in the Temple of Vivec and is the equivelant of a cross between The Pope and Jesus Christ. (Seriously, the fact that I used the word "cross" in a reference to Christianity was completely coincidental) The capital city is named after him. The current population of this nation is an estimated 2,000, 350 of which are guards. The population is about 25% human, 60% elf, and 15% other various species.
