Geography
The Allied States is a vast and powerful nation, covering all of the British Isles, which provide four of its seven member states: England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. It also occupies the Eastern Canadian borders, providing it with it's fifth member state, the Canadian Confederation, an alliance formed of native Iroquois and Allied States settlers. It's other territories are located in the Mediterreanean, where it occupies Gibralter, which is considered a military outpost. It's other two constituent nations are the Mediterreanean Coalition, composed of the former Yugoslavian states, as well as Albania. The final member state is Trans-Mediterreanean Free Alliance, composed of Greece and all of the island of Cyprus.
Sport
The Allied States fields one of the most respected teams in recent memory. The first cup ever participated in was the World Cup VIII, and continued to enter competitions until they held a top ten rank of nine. In World Cup XIII, the Stars had their highest finish ever, falling only two Rejistania and Commerce Heights in the semis and third place game respectively. The Stars though hit a bump in WCXV, failing to qualify after a disastorous qualifying run marked by bribery scandals which led to having TIS squads deployed at stadia and FA headquarters throughout the world. Several Vilitan and Turorian officials were convicted and sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. They have since fought their way back up to a ranking of twenty one, and were eliminated in the group stage of the most recent cup by a freak incidence in a match between the NEWI Cefn Druids and Starblaydia.
Military History
The Allied States have had an illustrious military history, conquering most of the Commonwealth of Abu-Dhabi Khristatata in two wars the have been combined to be called the Mediterreanean Conflicts, which led the forces of the Allied States and their close ally, the Military Replublic of Jace, called the Coalition forces over the Allied forces of Iraqstan, the Commonwealth of ADK, and Endless Crimes. The war cumulated in an epic sea battle in at Gibralter and a massive offensive in Portugal, which led to the surrender of the Allies and the aquisition of Mediterreanean territory.
