The New Model Army was founded as a military alliance by seperate factions occupying Bama and Dama Islands in the South Mogs Sea region during the Victorian Era as a response to the threat of invasion by the British East Indies Company and French Indochina. The [[Dama Pact]] formally organized the factions into one military authority, The New Model Army, and later amendments (made unanimously by all parties) formally organized the state of The New Model Army. Despite its name, The New Model Army is not a military government or a government under perpetual martial law; there is a clear distinction between civil and martial authorities.
