The United Socialist States of Uwukaka (USSU for short) is a nation with the Axis of Absurdity Region.

Formed up when the states of Reema and Hame united, following a long truce between these previous sworn enemies, The USSU is made up of both Reemans, Hamens, Uwukakans (of mixed Reeman-Hamen origin) as well as a number of other nationals' immigrants and refugees.

History

Reema

The Reemans were since antiquity a roaming barbarian tribe, which had come to reside partially on the property of an up-and-coming landlord known as Lord Murray. Upon their arrival onto the land, Lord Murray declared war upon them and invaded areas surrounding his small enclave of land (known as Reema Minor). The surrounding areas slowly came under the control of Lord Murray until its natural boundaries were met and the name of Reema Major was given to them.

The following years resulted in further wars with those whom had become known as Reemans, which had already formed an extensive empire of their own. During these wars the lands of Amano, Aubritia and Badeka came under the rule of Lord Murray, whom had declared himself Emperor of Reema.

Hamens

Like the Reemans, the Hamens were also a roaming barbarian tribe whom had built up their own empire and had over a long history been warring with the Reemans. As a result, they were also natural enemies to Lord Murray and his Reeman Empire. Upon annexing Badeka into the Reeman Empire, the Hamens were met for the first time whilst they crossed over Badeka, which they had claimed to be their territory. The result was what came to be known as the First Uwukakan War.

The First Uwukakan War

The Term Uwukaka comes from the Reeman language meaning: Great warriors and was termed due to the long fight that ensued between these two great empires. The term referred to both Reemans and Hamens alike because of their constant will to fight for their cause.

The war lasted an entire summer, with thousands of deaths from both sides and took place almost entirely on the land of Badeka (Free land-in Reeman) although did often spill out in to a narrow corridor of land between Badeka and Amano (which later came to be known as Memorial Valley, in respect to the lost lives of mostly Hamens). At the end of fighting the two sides decided upon a truce and the land of Badeka remained in the hands of the Reeman Empire, with the allowance of Hamens to pass over it.

The peace between the two empires was strengthened when The Javans, a group of barbarians south of Amano, swiftly broke their boundaries and overran both the Reeman and Hamen territories over a single winter season (a time in which the Reemans and Hamens often rested their armies). The Reemans and Hamens joined in Alliance and reconquered their lands and Java. Upon the defeat of the small land of Java, it was split between and shared equally by the Reeman and Hamen Empires. This was to become the beginning of the shared lands of Allied Uwukaka.
