A Week-long Inssurection that was quickly stamped out, but was marked by some bloody fighting.
The Rebellion Appears
The First Day
At dawn on the 3rd of January 2006, Torlikan Liberation Front (TLF) units mobilized and sprung up all around the province of Torlikan. They immidiatly struck local police and militia centers. Around noon, with the militia that supported the gorvent either out of action or dispersed, the Torlikan Militia defected to the TLF. Around 1800 armed units of The Organization for a Capitalist Franberry (OOF) appeared in the urban areas of the province and quickly seized the cities of Purtlok and Holr, and the towns of Joohl, Ferlikstown, Coarl and Southebourgh. Army Units were mobilized and were forming up on the borders of the province, army units inside the province were not called up as the army camps were covered by insurgents who had repossed around 50 T-84's, 5 T-90's, 60 APCs, 10 G6-hotwitzers and a large quantity of shoulder-fire AA missiles. Goveremnt supporters were quick enough to disable AA facilities.
At 2400 hrs on January 3rd:

The Second Day and the Initial goveremnt response
During the night, the rebel forces grew greatly, as it seemed that they were un opposed and in control of the mayority of Torlikan urban centers. The city of Aplotst was still held by about 5,000 goverment supporters, it remained the only large urban center not to fall to the rebels, who were beginning to form a chain around the city, making prepaprations for an attack.
At 1340 elements of the 345rd Armoured Division, the 57th Infantry division and the 192nd Rapid Assault division (about 10,000 men total) started their advance into southern Torlikan. They made raip advance until about 1900, were they encountered deanse woodland
