Motorists' locations are constantly tracked by intelligence and law enforcement agencies, elected officials often serve for decades in a single term, the automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts, and the government has started a campaign to crack down on road rage and encourage alternate means of commuting. Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Themlight's national animal is the Laughing Monster, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the credit.
