History

We can't go that far back, In Tik Mahdelideene Records have a way of disappearing. But When Tik Mahdelideene joined the Matribhoomi Region a few things happen to get saved in other nations archives. Tik Mahdelideene arrived to a land of scientific truth and logic, it was surrounded by overwhelmingly stable nations. it was never formally allied to any nation, but it did respect many other nations of the region. Within Tik Mahdelideene there had always been a lot of uprising and it had never been a stable nation, whether it is or not now is still debatable. the most powerful entities withe Tik Mahdelideene may be the Corporations, through competitiveness and the fact they have to fight raiders, gangs and protesters who may not like some of there politics... they keep each other in check, only gaining supreme power ever now and again. There was a point when they did achieve such power back when. They convinced the power to vote for corporations instead of people. This didn't last long though. When one person Madison Diamond a CEO of a considerably competitive energy company attempted a power grab that shocked her political and economic advisories. of course they couldn't let her get away with it. They fought back, in the end she left them devastated, but she still had lost. One might believe this would rock the unstable nation into anarchy, but not this time, power was relieved from Mahdi and sent to Clover, a university city to the northwest of The Kore. Threats came and went, a gang lord had taken control of the southern province known as Bounty, the only land in the desolate wastes of Tik Mahdelideene capable of producing a sufficient enough amount of grain to feed the rest of the nation. So the gang lord had the rest of the nation at ransom. Unfortunately the federal government either wouldn't or couldn't give in to the mans demands, so they tried to call his bluff. Unfortunately it wasn't a bluff at all, the entire nation went into food riots. In some cases communities held strong others fell apart. Shey, on The Rust Coast managed to survive through importing from other countries. Maytree on the other side of Bounty paid it's own way out to the gangs. To the north, Clover and Lezlie stood strong and managed to weather the storm, Tzandl was used to rationing and low food supply ever since The Siege. Mahdi, the capital, crumbled, all law and order was lost. The poor and hungry came against the wealthy with a vengeance. After a while a joint effort between the cities, Shey, Clover and Lezlie along with the help of the supreme covert guard of Tzandl they managed to disrupt and eliminate the kelptocratic regime in Bree the central city of Bounty. Then the new president came into power. I man who was well educated in the best schools of Clover. Aldous Rymes, promises that anarchy will not strike again, that freedom will be protected but that another incident that caused the food riots of Mahdi will not have another chance to strike. Rymes was no corporations puppet, he was sincere about the sweeping reform and he has been working on fighting crime. Though a lot of the reform has yet to come into place, Rymes plans on making his mark on Tik Mahdelideenian history.

Provinces of Tik Mahdelideene

The Kore sounds as if it belongs at the center of the nation, but it really isn't. It's at the north east corner. The capital is at the center of The Kore. The Kore is more of the center of government, even if that government doesn't really effect the peoples lives. It's more like a group of people who claim they are the government. At times they may have been a front for powerful corporations, sometimes the government was actually run in Clover as it periodically has been throughout history. It's not unusual for the government to exist but just refuse to wield power, other times it's unable to wield that power, when the raiders from the dessert begin to do what raiders do best, or the gangs from the cities start taking larger pieces of the pie. Mahdi is really not that important of a city, and the land surrounding it is useless wastes that are actually surprisingly dangerous.

Diamond's Retreat, Madison Diamond went into exile here, filled with meditation dogos to the north, to the south there is a constant battle between eco-terrorists and the logger industry. Maytree is the central city, and it's a very colorful city. The province is known for the battle between the nature lovers and the industry, refineries are blown to pieces, logger camps are attacked by guerrilla soldiers in the night. Bombs are planted at the sides of roads, and skirmishes frequently rock the quiet wilderness. The north is known for it's mountainous landscape, and the religious anti materialistic communes. These people spend much of there time meditating and going into trances, they practice martial arts, and tend to every day chores for the sake of doing them, not so much because they must be done. It is believed that Madison Diamond my have converted to this backwards religion. The range is a strange place in the materialistic and godless nation, it may seem out of place, but there is no restriction on religion in Tik Mahdelideene... sometimes this can be a bad thing, if you consider Pey Young... but more about that on the last providence.

Bounty is the one providence that could feed the rest of the country, corporations are now in charge of that, but in modern Tik Mahdelideene these corporations are the only ones that are regulated severely given recent events in history. Bounty also has a healthy crime sector, and there is a strong religious mentality, mostly towards a God of the Harvest. The people of this land consider themselves lucky, they grow more crops then all of the rest of Tik Mahdelideene, more then they need so sharing the wealth usually isn't a problem, it would go to waste otherwise.

The Rust Coast is almost all city, Shey is it's center. The province extends up to the north but the northern region is mostly run by raiders, particularly Oliver's Army. It isn't surprising that the Import Export business is strong here, along with many other businesses. Crime is although strong here, and many of the CEO's are as guilty as the criminals, though laws are shaky, and drugs are legal in the nation, a lot of freighters are heading out to nations with tighter regulations on drugs, and any business that is based in Shey is likely to be willing to transport anything for the right price. Weapons, people, drugs, contribute of all sorts, all shapes colors and sizes. Actually the people who run the corporations in Shey probably brake more laws then the criminals, given that there are few laws in Tik Mahdelideene to brake therefor you'd has to leave Tik Mahdelideene to brake laws and Shey is Tik's portal to the world.

Tzandl is a plot of land that used to be a feudal society, a large fortress surrounded by farmland, although the farmland wasn't nearly as healthy as the land of Bounty, it did alright. It also took the federal government much more seriously then the rest of Tik Mahdelideene. Then the raiders came, from the Great Glass Dessert, from across the border, from the south and to the east there was Oliver's Army. It is believed that Oliver may not even exist, not with how the soldiers of Oliver's Army describe him, A godlike figure, eight feet tall, wings made of steel, jagged teeth, burning red eyes of fire and a f*kin' bad ass goatee. Well maybe the goatee is real. The central city, or fortress of Tzandl is literally under siege from the army. Still they try to stay in contact with Mahdi, even though there technology isn't so great, and Mahdi really isn't anything special. But to the people of Tzandl Mahdi's delusion of power is all they need to keep them going. That and supplies food more ammunition and a hug. They do have a specially trained guard, that they sometimes use for counter offenses to scare the raiders away.

The Great Glass Dessert is land that neither Tzandle nor the Northern alliance want. It is known for the Tuskan Raiders, and a small corporate mining enclave known as Spade. Spade is a recent construction in the dessert is was built quite recently, it hasn't begun mining, but there are teams built to survey the landscape, looking for evidence of minerals or passably even oil, anything to make the spade cooperation more money. Spade hasn't been bogged down, even though Oliver's army looms in the south, The Army is probably not yet aware of the shiny new city to the north. To the East the ominous dunes of the dessert beckons the miners. Also to the west is another newly formed province.

Pey Young recently created a cult, he grew obsessively agitated with Tik Mahdelideenes rejection of religion. He was brought up in Tzandl but left to study theology in Clover. He was amazed at how his classmates even the ones in his theology class ridiculed religion and religion's importance to society. Young traveled to Diamond's retreat to observe the people in meditation there, he liked perts of the religion but failed to understand much of it. He then traveled across the globe, learning about different religions. After ten years he came back to Tik Mahdelideene with a plan to create Tik's one and only national religion. But first he needed follower's he had started looking for them even before the food riots. But that's what he looked for, the deprived, the hungry, the desperate any of the poverty stricken who wished for a better life... then he promised them that his path was the correct way towards this better life. Spirituality of the sack of spirituality, but little of his belief is known... for he has these people living isolated from society, trespasser's are either never heard from again, or found dead ten miles away from the ridge were there is supposedly a camp.

foriegn relations

During the days of anarchy the people of tik Mahdelideene really didn't know very much about the other nations in there region, Matribhoomi. At the time they were surrounded by very democratic nations. As those nations gave way, the seemed to be replaced with much more totalitarian countries, such as The Dictatorship Lougik, The Armed Republic of Kachiek, the United Socialist States of Hellad and The Kingdom of Antinoob. While Tik Mahdelideene attempted to stabalize it's governnent it tried to reach out to the regional community, few even recognized the new government, other acts of diplomacy ended badly, very badly. Such as the diplomat sentto Lougik, who was captured once set foot on the nations soil, and held for two weeks before he was returned to Tik Mahdelideene. Tik Mahdelideene also was approached by a faction of Halled that was attempting to succeed from the main government, they pleaded to the people of Tik Mahdelideene to help in there effort to fight against there enemies in the government of Hellad, in the end it was decided notto help the faction group. In the end the government seemed to stamp out the factions movement, but even though Tik Mahdelideene never rose a finger to help the faction group, the two governments have a lot of distrust for one another. As time has past and Tik Mahdelideene's government has grown stronger, it has become much more arrogent. it's people are renown for being Belligerent, wistful and rude. It is the foolish pride of Tik Mahdelideene.

Modern

Tik Mahdelideene has a new flag, a new motto "???;-;" and Aldous Rhyme has begun to show his approval of the developing government. The people participate in voting and in the government, there is still quite a bit of political freedom, though there is no longer an absence of laws. The days of cannibalism, sadistic cults, environmental terrorists, corporate and gang run cities, fetish sex and nudity in public are in the past. The government has pumped a lot more money into the army and police force. The people allow there civil rights to be taken away in hopes of a safer less chaotic life style, but they seem heel bent on keeping there political freedom in place.
