Overview

The Incorporated States of Trebnak are located in The Sunbelt. The Incorporated States of Trebnak is a very large, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of over 160 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Commerce. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports, Furniture Restoration, and Retail industries.

Otherwise healthy people are being sent to internment camps just because they have VODAIS, birds and children's kites are regularly brought down by anti-aircraft fire, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, and businessmen have been raging over recent 'gender equality' policies in the workplace. Crime is a serious problem. Trebnak's national animal is the bat, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the ringstone.
