Tsuchii Miho (Japanese: 土井美穂, Tsuchii Miho) is the current President-Elect of the People's Republic of H-Town Tejas, and a former representative to the General People's Assembly for Estado Teraoka. Following the assassination of longtime dictator Nagaraku Ryouta, Tsuchii was one of the two candidates taken into consideration for the Presidency by the Interim Council of the PRH-TT, the other being Renato Vélez of Estado Paso. When the Interim Council failed to elect a candidate to the presidency, the first democratic presidential election in 124 years took place to determine the country's new leader. Tsuchii subsequently won these elections by a comfortable margin. She is set to receive power on December 31, 2007.

History

Born in what is now Nuevo Ayacucho, Estado Teraoka, to a Japanese-Tejano father and an Afro-Tejano mother. Both died before Miho's first birthday, and she spent the first three years of her life in a "state-run" orphanage for non-whites. In 1988, when the soldiers of the Social Republic Army were about to kill everyone in the orphanage, Tejano Proletariat Army rebels attacked Nuevo Ayacucho, and the children of the orphanage abandoned the city, instead following the TPA rebels through the swamp areas of the country. This was not an uncommon practice, as refugees following the TPA were somewhat more safe from the SRA. Eventually, the rebels reached New Fukuoka, where the refugees took up residence in a mansion once belonging to the fascist mayor.

Miho went to school like a semi-normal child until 1995, when fighting threatened to reach the capital. Celino Aiza, future People's Security Minister, ordered many of the refugees, including children, to form a "People's Guardian Unit." Tsuchii fought with this unit until 1997, when Aiza was found out by the TPA central command, who abhorred the use of child soldiers. Aiza wouldn't have a job until Nagaraku Ryouta appointed him to the People's Security Bureau.

Sent to the city of Fidela Caridad in Estado San Ismael, Miho and other child soldiers underwent a "recovery program," in which Tejano educators attempted to give child soldiers the education they had missed. Since Miho had never really "missed" much of that education, she was one of the program's most successful students. She was also very active in the Tejano Democratic Youth, and was even recognized by Chairman Nagaraku with some awards. Being pretty, Miho also served as a model for many recruiting posters for the TDY, and later TWP propaganda in general.

Miho returned to Teraoka when she turned eighteen, working in the Tejano Worker's Party there. She was the youngest person in the state to contest the GPA elections. She proved immensely popular, and won them, gaining a seat on the GPA in 2006. She was at the El Guerilla concert at which Nagaraku was assassinated. When the Interim Council of the PRH-TT was formed, Interim Chairman of the TWP Gustavo Juan Amador Zapata nominated her as a candidate for the Presidency.

Political Views/Opinions of Tsuchii

Tsuchii has advocated the reduction of power of the Tejano Worker's Party over the government, greater freedom of the press and more popular elections, but all on the format of a one-party state. She has also taken a hardline stance against the fascist rebels that remain in the nation. During the elections, she acted as a very populist figure, traveling all over the country to speak and do public service. At twenty-one years old, some consider her too youthful for her job; she argues that if Tejas had not accepted the leadership of Fujita Ichirou, who was twenty-one when he led the revolution against Brand Christensen, the country might still be under fascism.

Personal Life

Tsuchii has no family to speak of, and has never been married, or for that matter, "even been in a semi-serious relationship." Like Chairman Nagaraku, Tsuchii is known for taking few days for vacation, living modestly, and doing lots of public service, both in Tejas and in other countries. Like Interim President Josefa Phạm, she is openly bisexual, but unlike Phạm, she has never been an activist in the LGBT community. She has openly declared herself an atheist, and says that she "has never had a religion, and probably never will."
