Overview
The Sacred Union of Worker's Republics (or the Sacred Union of Hogsweatian Republics) is possibly the only stalinist nation in existance in International Incidents. It is well known for widespread abuse of human rights, genocide and democide, an utterly totalitarianist regime and other various malpractices of government.

The SUHR can be considered a sucessor state to Hogsweat, a large and well known "Socialist" nation that existed until 2005 until it was deleted in what was at the time a significant controversy. ICly this was portrayed as a giant nuclear attack resulting from a self-destruct mechanism on the Hogsweatian Strategic Rocket Forces. Several attempts where made by the player to revive Hogsweat ICly under the Nationstates nation of Hogsweatia, but all failed due to his self-admitted laziness. Incidentally this is also the same OOC player as Questers.

As it stands, Hogsweat's completely planned economy can barely afford to provide its citizens with their basic needs, especially with regards to power, food, and clean water. Often officials that have spent more than a month planning consumer goods are "purged", often because they will become critical of the economic systen, seeing its downfalls first hand - and ergo are "dissenters" and should be removed. This consistent lack of experience is one of the greatest downfalls for the planning system as well as the fact that industries rarely meet the targets set which are ususally far too low anyway.
As it stands, no building in the nation (apart from government buildings and ration houses) have power for more than six hours a day at the most. Ration-houses often are undersupplied with food and people on average live in 50-60% of the recommended daily calories. However, this number is significantly larger in the areas being industrialised as the regime wants its industrial workers to be healthy. Farmers will rarely eat what they produce as most of it is sent to the industrial areas.

Power Issues
Currently, there are massive setbacks in Hogsweatian power production. Government supply limits are consistently set too low and as such supply is far below demand. Usually citizens only receive 6 hours of electricity to their houses a day. According to the regime, on Revolution Day, the entire country receives 24 hours of electricity as a bonus to celebrate bolshevism. However, this comes at a price that randomly chosen citizens "volunteer" their electricity supply for the greater good of the state.
