The problem is [[:Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu/B]] and [[:Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu/A]]. Both of them contain no pages and the content seems to belong on an article page. I can't move categories. Do admins have the power to do that? Or will it have to be a c+p job? You might also want to check out [[:Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu]], which I can't make any sense of. Thanks. <font color="blue">''[[User:Ceorana|&rarr; Ceo]]\[[User talk:Ceorana|<small>squawk</small>]]''</font> 03:55, December 4, 2005 (GMT)

:OK. I don't think he'll respond, seeing has he has only edited on one day way back in October. But it's worth a try. <font color="blue">''[[User:Ceorana|&rarr; Ceo]]\[[User talk:Ceorana|<small>squawk</small>]]''</font> 04:08, December 4, 2005 (GMT)

Why does this take place in [[User talk:F2B#Requesting deletion|my discussion space]]? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with me. --[[User:F2B|F2B]] 05:52, 6 December 2005 (GMT)

New Preview Template

I made a new one. It looks like:

Please use the preview button

Gruenberg2,
I've noticed that you've been saving the same page many times, trying to figure out how a piece of code works. Please make use of the "Show preview" button, found next to the "Save page" button at the bottom of the page. Each time a page is saved, a copy of the current revision is saved. This is an important feature of NSwiki, as it helps us prevent vandalism, but is also uses up server space. This adds up quickly when the page is saved many times. Using "Show preview" allows you to check all changes, to make sure you haven't made any mistakes in the code, without unnecessarily saving. So if you're trying to perform a complicated bit of code, please click the "show preview" button before saving the page. Thanks for using NSwiki responsibly.

I know the wording is fuzzy, so you can change that all you want, but how's the aesthetic aspect? The template is at Template:Preview2test → Ceo\squawk 01:20, December 2, 2005 (GMT)

Changes look good. I added the sentence about noticing that the user had actually caused a problem; otherwise it seems a little ambiguous why the message was sent. Otherwise, looks good. → Ceo\squawk 03:25, December 2, 2005 (GMT)
Why aren't the testing templates we have sufficient? You could probably modify one of them to cover this type of preview-testing. --[[Insert non-formatted text hereUser:Pacitalia|Paci]]talkia 05:21, 2 December 2005 (GMT)

Welcome Template

I looked at the page (with the old welcome template), and it doesn't look obvious that they're being "templated". On the edit page, it doesn't show the pagename variable. Am I missing something? → Ceo\squawk 02:24, December 3, 2005 (GMT)

Oh. It does. :) The problem appears to stem from using nested templates. An obvious solution would be to variablize the {{PAGENAME}}s, and then just have the code look like {{Welcome|{{subst:pagename}}}}. But's that probably not viable, as the template is already in such widespread use. It would probably be best to ask Goober; I know he did some stuff with nested templates on the nation infobox, so he might know. On the other hand, that was with a previous version of NSwiki. I guess I don't really know what to do here, but maybe I've sparked some ideas... → Ceo\squawk 02:43, December 3, 2005 (GMT)

Requesting Admin Assistance

Again. :) The problem is Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu/B and Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu/A. Both of them contain no pages and the content seems to belong on an article page. I can't move categories. Do admins have the power to do that? Or will it have to be a c+p job? You might also want to check out Category:Languages/Ri'Hannsu, which I can't make any sense of. Thanks. → Ceo\squawk 03:55, December 4, 2005 (GMT)

OK. I don't think he'll respond, seeing has he has only edited on one day way back in October. But it's worth a try. → Ceo\squawk 04:08, December 4, 2005 (GMT)
