Links in resolution text

I removed Wikipedia links defining 'Open source' and 'Freeware' from IT Education Initiative (removed) and place them in a separate section. I think it's good you provided definitions for those who don't understand them, but I don't feel we should do so within resolution text, even in the form of links, as this function is not available in the actual resolution. Feel free to make your case if you think we should reinsert them, though.Gruen2alk 00:21, 7 November 2005 (GMT)

I hadn't realized there was precedent. I would consider removing those links, too. I simply believe that adding definitions to resolutions is misleading. However complex the text, we should present it 'naked' on the Wiki page, and then pile on all the links we want. We will probably need to consult others to reach some consensus. Could you hold off reinsertion just for the moment, until we agree?Gruen2alk 00:55, 7 November 2005 (GMT)
