Naming Conventions

I've noticed you're using Safalra as your user page, and The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra as your nation page. This doesn't work so well because now your infobox at the nation page doesn't link back to your nation page, and NSwiki likes nation pages to be at the exact name of the nation without pretitles (see NSwiki:Naming conventions). The information on Safalra should be at User:Safalra, and the information at The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra should be at Safalra. In order to fix this, I think you'll need a sysop's help, because it will require deleting pages to move new ones in there. It would be great if you could contact a sysop and have them help you fix it. Thanks! → Ceo \ squawk 16:12, 27 December 2005 (GMT)

I'm aware that there's an issue here. My argument for the current arrangement is:
User:Safalra is a User page, and so should contain meta-information (that is, information not directly relevant to a Wiki on NationStates). At the moment it just says to see Safalra as I haven't bothered to put any information there yet.
Safalra refers to me personally. I use this name online (and even in real life on occasion). The page contains information that is directly relevant to a Wiki on NationStates, such as various NationStates software - this information shouldn't be on a User page.
The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra refers to may nation. In role-play I always use the full title (as Safalra refers to a character, based on me, residing in the nation).
I'm open to opinions on the best way to handle this division-into-three. I can fix the infobox quite easily, if that's the main concern. --Safalra 17:07, 27 December 2005 (GMT)
I'm a sysop: give me a shout if you need any help. Ceo is right about naming conventions. I'd suggest putting the Safalra material on User:Safalra, and the nation material on Safalra. Gruen2alk 17:09, 27 December 2005 (GMT)
Further to my previous comments, the infobox is now fixed and leads to the correct NS and third-party software pages. --Safalra 19:45, 27 December 2005 (GMT)
Perhaps you could merge The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra and Safalra, saying that programmers in the nation designed the software. Or you could move Safalra to a page like Safalran programs, and have an admin move The Fleeting Daydream Of Safalra to Safalra. The main issue is that nation information has to be on Safalra, because everyone expects that typing in a nation name will lead to that nation page, unless the nation doesn't have a page, and also because it's just the way we do things. :) → Ceo \ squawk 04:22, 9 January 2006 (GMT)
