History
Years ago the Empire of Vito was a prospering nation in a system not far from SOL. Pending destruction due to a star which was about to die forced the empire to leave its original location and become nomadic until a new, and better location was found. Under the lead of Emperor Marcus Divito, the large fleet came to stops on some locations, but never permanently. Upon finally settling, the Empire then changed its name to The Interstellar Empire of Vi2o (Pronounced the same as Vito) to remember the original Empire that lay in the now decimated system, and to mark a new, and second beginning in the reign of the glorious state under the lead of Marcus Divito VI.
Due to Vito's nomadic ways, some colonies still remain on few planets which were used during their travel. They consist of mostley left-behind prisoners and people unwilling to move any farther. Most are now rebel, and pirate colonies which frequently breach new Vi2oian space with primiative, but resourceful technology. Note that not all of these colonies are hostile, few are still allied with Vi2o and under Vi2o's influence.
Over the years, Vi2o has never been engaged in any wars and remains hospitable to all new races and nations it makes first contact with. Hostility is only used if met with hostility, and even then negotiations are never a closed option.
Trade
Vi2o is primarily a self-sufficient nation with colonies on different planets all contributing; however trade routes are still established for the sake of foreign relations and cultural blending. The IEV also is always interested in acquiring alien technology, and sharing some of its own.
