Introduction
History
The Commonwealth of Viviakin was founded amidst much turmoil in 36 BC when it gained independence from Rome. Founded as Viviakin, it was originally a city-state on a peninsula with a population of only 2,000 people. In 1387, it was overrun by English invaders, who re-established it as a commonwealth under Lord Protector Michael (I) Bismarck, an English noble of German descent and cousin to the ancestor of Otto von Bismarck, the Prussian famous for unifying Germany. After a brief period (1526-1538) of rule by a French invader who called himself King Jaques (I) Du Briet and his nephew King Jaques (II) Du Briet, the country returned to the Bismarck family line, which has held control ever since.
