Weapons of Eden-IV

On Eden-IV, there are a great number of different weapons.

Melee weapons

Neko-te

A Neko-te is a type of melee weapon that originated from Japan on the planet Earth. It consists of a sort of glove with sharp spikes on the inside. Jumper Troopers, Germanistan's airborne elite infantry, uses this type of weapon to cling onto aircraft aswell as in CQB inside a hijacked aircraft.

Centurian Fist

The Centurian Fist is a type of high-tech gauntlet incorporating a machine gun and a bayonet on the back of the hand. It is worn by Centurions of the Tucci Army as main weapon for melee and CQB purposes.

Sword

Combiner Sword

Combiner Swords are weapons combining a gladius with a minigun mounted into its shaft. The weapon is used mainly for slashing, but the minigun can serve, although of such a small caliber to be considered a non-lethal weapon, as additional firepower over short ranges. The minigun is fired by a trigger in the weapon's handle. The weapon is used by Legionnaires of the Tucci Army.

XPLO Sword

The XPLO-Sword is a type of sword that is permanently enchanted with an explosive fire-class spell to add to the weapon's damage. It is the weapon of choice of Leutnant ShangDi of Germanistan.

Firearms

Firearms are not really rare on Eden-IV, but they have not yet pushed aside the wide range of melee weapons, due to Eden-IV's lack of chemicals necessary to produce great amounts of propellants used in firearms with the exception of black powder. The Germanistan army employs a variety of firearms and heavy guns, aswell as do most smaller nations.

SuPK-III

Semi-automatic rifle

A type of semi-automatic rifle used by the troops of Litovania. Litovania's limited industrial capacity led to production of a small number of rifles of the SuPK-II type by hand, while a greater amount of SuPK-IIIs was ordered from Checkistan. Though the weapon is of excellent quality, its low rate of fire and incapability to pierce even light armor make it useless when facing an opposing military force fielding modern equipment.

StG-G3A Assault Rifle

The basic assault rifle used by the Germanistan Storm Troops.

SA-GraT Grenade Launcher

A one-shot grenade launcher designed to be tapped onto the barrel of a StG-G3A Assault Rifle. The grenades fired have a diameter of 34mm to 40mm and can be fired over a distance of about 50 meters. This weapon is used by high-level Storm Troops to clear a path through heavy defenses. The high explosive warheads used in the grenades make good against enemy infantry, light vehicles and light structures, but are useless against concrete walls or heavy armor.

RB Rampage

"Riot control assault rifle"

The RB Rampage is a pre-Psion War ArmSuit weapon and one of its kind. It fires rubber bullets that are not harmful to personell if fired at low velocity. However, the weapon's power can be increased, and at the power output, the bullets are propelled powerful enough to demolish even armored vehicles. They then rebounce and the rebouncing shots can cause havoc among densely packed enemy troops.

The Carronade is a super-heavy siege artillery gun employed on the weapon platforms of the same name used by Nova Roma.

Pulse Weapons

Pulse Weapons are used in a wide variety on Eden-IV. These are melee weapons that use pulsed kinetic energy released upon impact to inflict heavy damage even on armored targets. The stored energy can also be fired at the enemy as a method of ranged attack, but close combat strikes are much more efficient. All Pulse Weapons have been produced before the end of Sothfar, and today, there is no technology left to replicate them.

Pulse Halberd

The Pulse Halberd is the weapon of Ruby Guard members. It is basically an halberd with a storage and emission device for KE pulses at the top of the shaft.

Pulse Scythe

This weapon is used by the Grey Guard. It is a scythe that releases a kinetic pulse in addition to slashin the target.

Pulse Hammer

The Pulse Hammer is a pulse weapon variant unused by the military forces of Eden-IV. One of these weapons is installed on the HEPHIAST ArmSuit.

Pulse Meteor Hammer

A Meteor Hammer is a heavy weight on a chain. In the case of the pulse meteor hammer, an heavy KE impulse is released upon impact. This weapon is wielded by Celine Ayfer Danay as weapon of choice.

Pulse Saber

The Pulse Saber is essentially a Pulse Scythe with a much shorter shaft and an additional horizontal handle. It allows for rapid slashes and strikes, unlike the long-shafter variants, and is considered one of the most effective pulse weapons against infantry. It can also fire kinetic pulses. It was widely used by mercenaries and as personal sidearm, but unused in the military due to its lack against armored targets. One of these weapons was wielded by Hector Raynheartz.
