6:00am, 9th June

We are headed for the region known as Empires of Earth. We are still searching for a land to capture and claim for Olaubia.

Weather: Sunny

Water: Calm

11:14am, 9th June

The crew have spotted land on the horizon and we are sailing towards it.

12:33pm, 9th June

We have landed on quite a big island, which is a few miles away from the mainland coast. After sailing around the island we have found a smaller island to the east and further exploration reveals to smaller islands to the south. I have sent out expedition parties to explore the separate islands.

3:56pm, 9th June

Reports tell me that the the large island and the small island to the east are inhabited by natives who are prepared to defend their land whatever the cost. I have no other option other than to order the troops to seige both the islands and then claim the two islands to the south. These are not inhabited, but are used as hunting grounds.

6:03pm, 9th June

The seige went well. Most of the natives surrendered and are now in our service. I have decided to keep the names of the islands used by the natives.

I am proud to state that these four islands are now a crown dominion of Olaubia and shall be called Wennal.

After that a Govenor-General was appointed to lead Wennal and report back to HIM King Alexander.

Geography

Wennal has borders with Eiskalte Engel and Italian Pythons. Wennal also neighbours Beowulf Bay.

Here are the names of the four islands mentioned in the log book. The large island is Isla Grande and the small island to the east is Isla del Este. The water in between Isla Grande and Isla del Este is Agua Media. The 2 small islands to the south are Isla de la Joya (the one further to the north), and Poca Isla del Sur (the other one). The main town in these islands is El Acceso which is on the southern coast of Isla Grande.

Further explorations of Wennal have revealed a river that runs along the north border of Wennal with Eiskalte Engel, a lake on the border with Italian Pythons, and 3 islands on the south-east coast of the mainland.

The river is called the River Blauwit and the lake is called the Blauwersee. The most northernly of the islands off the south-east coast of the mainland is called Krullend Island (just off the Krullend Peninsula), the middle island is called Lang Island and the most southernly is called Breking Island.
