Xiang Gang
The Republic of Xiang Gang is a nation in the Meritocracy. Although ancient, with a population of more than 3 billion, it was insular for much of its existence. An economic boom has however been seen in the last 50 years, and Xiang Gang has become a member of the Meritocratic Senate and is in negotiations to join the ECON.

Politics
Xiang Gang is a free, democratic republic with the rule of law. Its is not a federal state, and the people elect the Legislative House as their parliament. It forms, along with those from other sources, the National Congress which appoints from itself the Chief Executive and Premier.
The Chief Executive is head of state and head of government, although he delegates some functions in policy execution to the Premier. They both serve in Xiang Gang's cabinet, the Executive Council.
