The Allied States of Yalaruz

A land that, although surrounded by hate, fear, oppression, and conflict, sought the lighter side of life. Through meditation, self control and rationality, the people of Yalaruz came together, overcame their small differences, and united as a singule nation. Their spokesman, Ryoushin, is a man with a small frame and soft flowing voice. He is looked up to by his people as a leader for his incredible diplomacy skills. However, he views himself as just one man trying to help his brothers through a rough age.

The Yalaruz journeyed from the south and upon reaching the northern expanse, decided it would be too dangerous to cross the mountain range, and settled. Their homeland, a region with sweltering summers and violently stormy springs, was not unlike the northern expanse. It was filled with violence and despair. The Yalaruz attempted to change their neighbors through understanding and compassion. The neighboring nations, however, saw this as a sign of weakness, and invaded en masse. Multiple armies clashed head to head on the Yalaruz' once tranquil farms and temples. Ryoushin gathered his people, realizing there could be no stopping the war that raged on, and left his battle trampled villages for the north. Ryoushin, was aware that the old nations of the northern expanse were short tempered and quick to war with one another, but at least war had not already set upon them. His people began rebuilding their temples of meditation and their quaint farms, and before long, had established themselves once more.

The Yalaruz' welcome was less than spectacular, but Ryoushin, defining the perseverance of his people and his ancestor's tradition, vowed to change his fellow nations' minds about conflict and warfare. One civilian at a time, if need be.

The Disputed Territories of Yalaruz

Time passed, and Ryoushin's efforts seemed to be in vain. He ventured far across the snowy region in search of someone who would listen to his advice and join him in his daunting quest for peace. He searched the icy cliffs of the mountains and the endless tundra of the lowlands. He searched, but he found only cold stares, and harsh words from other nations. He had been gone from his villages for months upon months, and even his traveling party became weak and lethargic. His people in Yalaruz, became anxious of his return as no domestic issues were being tended to. Ryoushin's travelling party decided to return home, to bring some form of organization back to their country, but Ryoushin carried on, hoping that if he could make it far enough easy, to the isle of Sibastia, and reason with the region's UN delegate.

When the travelling party returned home, they found their village under the loose control of a group of youngsters who had banded together months before. These young kids formed themselves to begin organizing agricultural business, but the power went to their heads. They became pushy and borderline violent when deciding upon local issues. By the time Ryoushin's party returned, Yalaruz had already began to wither under the pressure of the young gang. Feeling threatened by Ryoushin's men, the gang cast them out of the city's borders. Ryoushin's men refused, trying to plead with the gangsters. The kids, seeing the incident as a perfect time to flex their muscles and show the civilians of Yalaruz they meant business, executed Ryoushin's men in the middle of the village.

After this atrocity, law went by the wayside, as the gang's numbers grew. One woman, Kariudo, rose faster than any other gang member, and in a horrific firefight, earned herself the title Kami Kariudo. The Lord of the Gangsters. Her cold demeanor and unforgiving eyes brought organized rule over the local gangs. Within a few quick years, the "gangs" that once terrorized the streets, became a formidable Yakuza that owned and controlled the streets. Law enforcement agencies realized they would soon be overrun if they didn't stop Kariudo soon, and a joint effort, raided the Yakuza's fortress in Yalaruz' massive slums. The following 3 days were the most violent 3 days in Yalaruz' history, as the blood of yakuza and police officers spilled out of the grottos and into the streets of their nation. When the smoke cleared, and the shooting ceased, Kami Kariudo and her Yakuza stood over the bodies of nearly 90% of the nations police force. Without hesitation, she launched an attack on the remaining police officers, eradicated them, and ceased formal control over the nations government.

Other states within Yalaruz, began to fear the same fate, and left the nation, seeking another region safer for their people. Biker gangs, and cults rose up in place of the governments and began dictating their own law. States clashed with neighboring states over territory and the entire nation of Yalaruz soon fell into chaos, anarchy, and peril. Death, suffering, and struggle became commonplace, as brother slew brother, and some of the Yalaruz claim, Hell became to anxious, and rose up to claim it's long awaited children.

The Armies of Yalaruz

The Black Army is an army with a single purpose. It's sole purpose is to disrupt, confuse, and bog down enemy battalions. The black army utilizes a number of small and fast vehicles giving it incredibly high maneuverability. The unit is constantly on the run, which makes it nearly impossible to predict when or where it will attack. In addition to its high mobility, it also employs many long range weapons and several sniper regiments which it uses to destroy communication systems, assasinate officers, and sabotage vehicles. The black army furthers its trickery with the use of radar scrambling equipment mounted on its vehicles and by operating only under the cover of darkness. Under the leadership of Colonel Ishigawa, this mobile unit has thwarted enemy attacks and fouled possible invasions time and time again, and has only improved it's abilities since it's birth in the early 1960's.

The Bronze Army is a armored expeditionary unit. Comprised of a small number of armored divisions, a few support groups, and a singular elite armored division, the unit is rounded out with a healthy number basic infantry batallions. This army is a base unit and is suitable for most unspecified engagements. As such, the bronze army is used by the Yalaruz to "test the waters" in uncharted regions and also as a front running unit to spearhead an invasion. Commanded by Captain Sato, the bronze army has seen more battles than any other army in Yalaruz, and is more than battle hardened.

The Silver Army is the big brother to the smaller bronze army. It's format remains identical to the bronze armies, with two small differences. The silver army has three additional regiments of more experienced veteran regiments, making the unit more cohesive and more suitable for difficult or complicated engagements. In addition to the veteran regiments, the unit also has a reconnaissance regiment so as to avoid any unecessary confrontations and relay enemy positions to the command HQ. Major Nobuteru has molded his unit into a formiddable force.

The mighty Gold Army is the bulk of Yalaruz's land forces. It is a enormous armored unit with several smaller mobile units and support units fleshing it out. General Tatsorugi came into command of this army as a mere liutenant, when the commanding officer at the time was killed during combat. Despite the heavy losses the unit had recieved and the loss of its commander, captain Tatsorugi assumed control, and with his cool demeanor brought sanity and organization back and eventually defeated his enemy. Since then, Tatsorugi has been promoted five times and his army has claimed numerous victories for Yalaruz. It is the gold army that Yuushou Genki favors the most over any other army.

Yalaruz's Red Army is a mobile assault unit designed to achieve tactical advantages during multi-faceted engagements. Due to the environments and battle zones the red army is constantly immersed in, only the most experienced and most battle hardened troops fill its roster. Mobile jeeps and humvees with long range weaponry and anti-aircraft missiles provide defense against aerial opponents, while small armored vehicles armed with anti-tank rockets and heavy machine guns are able to dispatch armored opponents and regiments of troops. Both of these groups are provided support and intel by a small reconnaissance regiment which rides along with the unit. Often appearing and dissappearing from one battle front to the next, the red army has often given Yalaruz's forces that extra push needed to sway the tides of war toward victory. The red army is under the supervision of Liutenant Miki.

Liutenant Colonel Kogashiwa is the very proud and very strict commander of the Yellow Army. The yellow army is actually a military base, and isn't mobile at all. The yellow "base" is the massive home to Yalaruz's airforce and can provide air superiority and support to warzones anywhere in the region. Within its underground hangars, rests the elite F-22 Raptor squadrons and the reclusive F-35 Joint Strike Fighter squadrons. Above ground, a few divisions of armored tanks and personnel groups protect the secondary fighter squadrons. The base's perimeters are guarded diligently by five battalions of basic infantry, as well as a vigilant squadron of H-23 Raven attack helicopters. Beyond the desk of Yuushou Genki in the capital of Yalaruz, all military matters are handled within the confines of the Yellow Army.

The Orange Army is a small air force base located in eastern most Yalaruz. The base is purely a supplementary unit, providing a wide range of support to engagements around the region. Nestled in the deep crevases of the northern Carpathian Mountains, the base is relatively safe from attack, outside of aerial intruders. Protecting the base from these aerial assaults is a giant swarm of 6 Wasupu squadrons, and if the opponent is at too high an altitude, or the threat of long range bombing becomes evident, multiple squadrons of F-15E Strike Eagles are ever ready to defend their home. Providing support to nearby battlefields are squadrons of Hind-D russian attack helicopters and smaller H-23 Ravens. Long range support comes from the AC130 Spectre Gunships and A-10 Thunderbolts. At Major Saitamo's command, orange "base" can unleash incredible devastation from under the wings of B1B Lancer and B2 Stealh bomber squadrons. At a moments notice, Orange Army rains death upon Yalaruz's foes.
