Zenobia

Information

The details of Zenobia's early life have remained a closely guarded secret that she has not fully shared with anyone except her wife Empress Dejan Qordath. Suffice it to say that Zenobia's childhood was not a happy one, and so at the age of 21 she found herself working as an assassin for the Armament Technologies Corporation, one of the more unethical companies in Qordalis.

Concerned by the growing popularity of Dejan Qordath and the rebellion she supported, the corporation dispatched Zenobia to put kill Dejan. However, Zenobia was captured in the attempt by Chengar Qordath, and Dejan eventually won her trust and convinced Zenobia to defect. The deep bond between Zenobia and Dejan formed by the experience would eventually lead to romance and marriage.

Zenobia turned on her former employer and the government with a deadly vengance. She is credited with killing the CEO of Armatech and most of the board of directors. She also killed several high ranking officials within the government, as well as several of the more competent enemy generals, and her work to decapitate enemy leadership likely aided the Qordathic rebellion significantly.

After the rebellion she followed Dejan into seclusion for seven years, and joined Dejan in emerging to help put an end to an attempted coup sponsered by Nurcia. Zenobia became Empress Consort following Dejan's corronation, and with the creation of the Triad has assumed a reasonable degree of power.

Personality

Zenobia can have a firey personality and a temper that always seems to run a little hot. She also tends to be a bit blunt for such a major political figure, and has on more than occaision forced Dejan to work rather hard at damage control from an ill-considered statement. She can often come off as harsh and unfriendly to those who do not know her, but her behavior around Dejan reveals a deep and loving side that Zenobia generally does not like to see revealed.
