The Asgarnian Gendarmerie (AG) is the sub-branch of the Asgarnian Army that is responsible for the routine policing of the rural areas of the nation. The AG also provides medical transport service.

Purpose
The Asgarnian Gendarmerie (Military Police) is the sub-branch of the military (belonging to the Asgarnian Army) that deals with patrolling rural areas, protecting the Capitol City, enforcing Marshal Law (when and where it is enacted and legalized), and search and rescue.
Strength
There are 2,000,000 servicemen serving in the AG currently.

The Gendarmerie is divided into several groups to specialize the sub-branch.

Political Guard
The Political Guard protects senators, congressmen, parlimentarians, presidential candidates, governmental candidates, and other political figures.
Highway Unit
The Highway Unit patrolls all Asgarnian Highways and keeps the highway's drivers safe.
Main Force Patrol
The MFP is tasked with preventing crimes comitted on roadways and highways.
Control Unit
The Control Unit takes care of all communications and dispatches. It also deals with the leadership of the sub-branch.
Arms Unit
The Arms Unit deals with equipping all military policemen and policewomen with the appropriate weapons and equipment.
Maintainance Unit
The Maintainance Unit is responsible for reparing and upkeeping Gendarmerie vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, arms, and uniforms.
Ambulance Corps
The Ambulance Corps provides medical services to rural areas without regular ambulance service. They operate 9,500 EMS Vehicles. They are the single-largest EMS/Ambulance provider in Asgarnieu.
Riot Unit
The Riot Unit deals specifically with any riots that occur within the nation.
Commands
The nation is split up into 5 Commands in which the Gendarmerie patrols.

Weapon Outfitting
The Gendarmerie is equipped with FN Five-seveN Tactical Pistols as a standard, but also have the choice to carry a sub-machine gun, rifle, or other weapon type.
