This treaty brought together each of the states, which were up until then acting as more 'regional powers', rather than a formal organised national. Beginning as a democracy, the political nature of the Austar Union stayed generally the same for a few hundred years of its history, until finally leaders began to realise the effectivity of a newer system of dictatorship. Now the Austar Union has prospered, making it one of the top two leading economies in Tareldanore, second only to that of Menelmacar. Background
