[http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=UN_past_resolutions/start=40 UN Resolution to End Barbaric Punishments] - how does this effect Voltaire Torture Day? I'm thinking the UN resolution does not impinge on Voltaire Torture Day because it only bans torture as ''punishment'', not torture as a national celebration or just for fun.

UN Resolution to End Barbaric Punishments - how does this effect Voltaire Torture Day? I'm thinking the UN resolution does not impinge on Voltaire Torture Day because it only bans torture as punishment, not torture as a national celebration or just for fun.

Well, not exactly what the page is for. Re: Voltaire Torture Day - is there more material for that article, or is that it? If that's all there is, it should probably be merged into the main nation page instead of having a separate article. If not, hopefully you'll be expanding it. → Fris Θtalk 02:11, 3 Dec 2004 (GMT)
