The Kingdom of Hidaya Miliki is a consolidated nation of 3 distinctive peoples. The Chagina Peoples, the Erevusha Peoples and the Tiifu Peoples. At one time, they were united under a royal family that consisted of many members of all the three tribes. It was almost by convention that the three peoples lived in peace for many centuries. Eventually racial tensions between the three groups built up until the Kingdom was fractured into three states. Eventually it was the Mubarak Dynasty that solidified control once again. The name Hidaya Miliki is "Beautiful Land" in Swahili, which is an understatement for the natural beauty of the nation.

Recent History

The Kingdom of Kidaya Miliki has had a troublesome past. With 500 million within its tiny borders, the nation is densely populated. The three peoples, the Chagina, Erevusha and Tiifu. When the Mubarak Dynasty took control, they were members of the Chagina Tribe. Driving the nation into debt with use of blackmail, theft and extortion, the Mubarak Chagina were the first and foremost militant force who followed King Mubarak I. Under his leadership the violence of the Mubarak Chagina succeeded in seizing control of the other territories of the Tiifu and the Erevusha, who were immediately subject to an absolute monarchy, under Mubarak I. With Mubarak I's leadership, the Erevusha and the Tiifu were second-class citizens born to a racist class society where the Chagina were superior and given extrordinary rights while the other two tribes were subject to hostile racist laws.

The moderate Chagina, who formed a near majority of the Chagina population were deeply sympathetic to the other two tribes, conspired to form an underground movement destined to bring democracy and freedom to all peoples of Kidaya Miliki. It was during the reigh of King Mubarak III, that in order to impress foreign nations, he allowed the puppet Bunge or Parliament, to issue resolutions that stated that the nation was moving progressively and that more and more rights were being passed to the other tribes, while in truth there was no assisting the situation.

Over the course of the monarchy, and more than 120 years of oppression, the Mbomoshi Movement was formed to bring revolution to the nation. The Mubarak Chagina and the Mbomoshi began skirmishes throughout the countryside, as the King, Mubarak IV issued orders for martial law, arresting anyone suspected of assisting the Mbomoshi in anyway. Holding families hostage and confiscating property, the Mubarak Chagina and the Kidayan Army controled everything from food production to the media, spreading their radical propaganda throughout the nation. King Mubarak IV ruled with absolute power and dissolved The Bunge. The Iron Era of Mubarak the IV had begun

Mubarak IV may have ordered more than 6000 people to their deaths by his brutalistic rule. These deaths do not include those of "rebellion insurcencies". Though he had control of the nation, the Mbomoshi were still around.

A Mbomoshi assasin nearly succeeded in assasinating Mubarak IV during a banquet with his most loyal supporters with a bomb, but Mubarak IV escaped. However out of the 2000 guests, more than 150 were killed. This only gave Mubarak IV an excuse to round up even moderate sympathizers of his own government to be executed.

One of the most tragic and brutal chapters of the Iron Era was the legacy of Princess Tiana. Tiana was the daughter of Mubarak IV and a secret sympathizer to the Mbomoshi. As a member of the royal family her visits to villages and towns were often deliberately glorified to prevent her from seeing the true terrors of the nation. Even the Empress, Ikiriana was not known to this. During one of her visits to a town, a little girl managed to get close to the Empress and slipped her a bouquet of flowers. Inside the bouquet was a hidden video disc within it was documentary evidence, particularly signed documents of her father, authorizing the elimination of a village and its entire population, all of whom were Tiifu. The Princess, a long admirer of Tiifu weaving and arts secretly viewed the video disc and soon discovered that there was far more outside the palaces than a glorified nation. Princess Tiana was determined to find out the truth. It was suspected that the Princess did not believe her father could have authorized this and that she embarked on her own investigation to prove the tape was a forgery.

The Princess managed to obtain information on a loosely suspected pro-Mbomoshi village leader. Ordering her most trusted guards and handmaidens to help her leave the palace, she was brought to the village in extreme secrecy and spoke to the village leader. The Village Leader showed her mass graves of victims, and even the stockpiles of knives, and machetes that were used to kill so many. When she returned to the palace she knew the truth. Secretly, she began sending information to the Mbomoshi giving them information on where the Mubarak Chigali were. Ever so quickly, the Mbomoshi mobilized with thanks to the Princess' information and managed to strike fast and hard at the Army. Soon the nation was thrown back into Civil War.

The only nation that possibly knew what was going on, was the Arch-Imperium of the Xheng Dynasty, a powerful nation to the south west. It too was deliberatly kept unaware of the tragedies and mass killings within the small nation, and its ambassadors were prevented from any access to the nation. The Xheng Emperor had grown concern regarding the situation within Hidayan Miliki. More than two centuries ago, the nobel familes of the Tiifu and the Erevusha had fled into Xheng Territory where they were permitted to live in peace. Now they were going to return and they attempted to ask the Xheng's for assistance. The Arch-Imperium has had multiple peoples and cultures within its borders for thousands of years and there were no civil wars or severe cultural tensions.
