The Protectorate of Falgan is a breakaway nation from The Principality of [[Zionaren]]. It is a newly created nation to expand Tarutaru influence throughout the region.

The Sovereignty of Keodian is a small sovereign nation entirely surrounded by the Arch-Imperium of the Xheng Dynasty. The Sovereignty of Keodian for many years has existed in peace with its more imperial neighbor and their monarchy. The Keodians themselves have thrived as a tourist location and as a tax haven for many generations. The recent tax exemption of the Xheng Dynasty Territories brought into some conflict a moving of massive business investments into the Arch-Imperium. However Keodian has remained persistant with its businesses keeping a great deal of investment still inside their nation.

Established after the Protectorate of Keodian was a direct response to maintain dominance on the North Continent by the Tarutaru and  by Zionaren. Fearing that the humans and other races would put them in a minority on their own land, the Zionaren government petitioned three colonization missions by civilians and the military to establish buffer states in the surrounding regions. It was with little surprise that this growth of rapid expansion by the Principality of Zionaren met some hostilities from neighboring countries that saw that the growth of Zionaren's dominance would lead to a great shift in power in the area.

Being a protectorate state, Keodian itself had no official representation in foreign and military affairs. Everything in those cases were dealt with by Zionaren itself and Chancellor-General Kito Venixer.

Keodian is a far more European nation as opposed to their Oriental Immigrants and larger neighbors. The Keodians themselves have lived peacefully with their Sovereignty. They were a collection of small principalities that united under a combined Sovereign. The Keodians emerged from this unification movement and occupied new territories. These territories still were small in proportion to the land claim by the Xheng clans.

Zionaren greately feared the growth of other nations that would soon put its own security at risk and so the establishment of the protectorates was vital to its own support and stability. The Tarutaru were long lived and thus had large families, the result would be a booming population that would constantly overshadow those of other races.

Like the other Protectorates, Keodian did have its own militia and navy for defense, but the vast part of its military strength was funneled towards the Principality of Zionaren and the Tarutaru Union. The Tarutaru Union fully recognizes the Protectorate of Keodian as an independent nation.

With their massive Xheng-Class Worldships and a huge naval presence arriving and ships unloading millions of people, the Xheng arrival was disruptive to the Keodians at first. As the Keodians greeted their new neighbors the first thing that was done was a border establishment agreement. The Keodians didn't oppose the existance of the Xheng Arch-Imperium and its smaller Imperiums to take up the land. The Keodians made most of their living from the oceans and artificial islands, but it was the Xheng artificial cities that struck an interest in overseas colonies.

'''Zionaren City:''' the largest and most prosperous city in the entire Zionaren Peninsula and the Coalition of Tarutaru Sovereignties. As the capital city of Zionaren it is the nexus of political intrigue for all Tarutaru. The Capital Palace of Zionaren City is a fantastically modern trio of pyramid like structures covered with glass and metal buildings, a far new design type compared to the older naturesque styles of the Tarutaru. Zionaren City also sits at the entrance to the Star Lake.

+
'''Sirrobjr:''' Named a great healer of Tarutaru mythology, the city is also a fully equiped port that bridges the Protectorate of Trilan with the Principality of Zionaren. Strategically this point is valuable for guarenteeing trade between nations in the ocean, thus the Zionaren Fleet is a common sight.

+
'''Shadow's Bane:''' The name of this settlement is for the enormous lighthouse on its territory. Though also a port itself, Shadow's Bane functions as the most eastern city in the region so military presence is always there.
+

+
'''Zephtyr Port:''' Unusual for a Tarutaru city, Zephtyr was named after a great Human hero. A thief and a criminal who oddly devoted his life to defending the smaller Tarutaru people. As a monument to their admired hero the Tarutaru named a settlement after him that turned out to become one of the great ports of the north.

'''Magicus:''' Magicus is not quite a city but a fortress that stands to guard the canal routes to the interior cities of Zionaren. The Central Zionaren Army's large fortifications have yet to be challenged.

'''Erinne:''' The more beautiful of the cities, Erinne was the first city to adopt the Jacques Fresco methods of design. The city is mostly white and nature like and blending in with the enviornment.

'''Tocasa:''' At the north end of Lake Tomal Tocasa is a resort city that used to function as a military installation. Since the entrance of Entoran into the Protectorates Tocasa was converted into a pleasure city.

'''Fryhtaning Port:''' Chief trade port to the Protectorate of Keodian, Fryhtaning Port was named after another Tarutaru hero of the past.

'''Kobili:''' The Port guarding entrance to Lake Kobili it is the first of the Capitals to ever be named not after the nation but an individual. Kobili was once a famous bard in Zionaren who's travels and spectatular music made the Zionaren musical arts famous. Kobili has since become a city of art and performances.

'''Araphanie:''' The Mithran capital city. From there a sub-government lead by the Mithra Chieftan takes issues for their own people.

'''Uruk:''' The northern most city of the Tarutaru realms, Uruk is under adminitration by the Humes, or Humans. It is one of two human settlements that exist within Tarutaru political borders and is given relatively a great deal of automony. It willingly joined with the Protectorate of Keodian after the War in  Kratloctostan for collective security. The Humans there have since enthusuasically joined with the Tarutaru military to defend their new lands.

'''Pari:''' The second of the Hume/Human settlements. This is the smaller ship building city for the Tarutaru defense forces. Across the sea is the Mithran city of Araphanie which shows a diverse multicultural aspect to the Protectorates.

National History

Keodian is a far more European nation as opposed to their Oriental Immigrants and larger neighbors. The Keodians themselves have lived peacefully with their Sovereignty. They were a collection of small principalities that united under a combined Sovereign. The Keodians emerged from this unification movement and occupied new territories. These territories still were small in proportion to the land claim by the Xheng clans.

The Xheng Arrival

With their massive Xheng-Class Worldships and a huge naval presence arriving and ships unloading millions of people, the Xheng arrival was disruptive to the Keodians at first. As the Keodians greeted their new neighbors the first thing that was done was a border establishment agreement. The Keodians didn't oppose the existance of the Xheng Arch-Imperium and its smaller Imperiums to take up the land. The Keodians made most of their living from the oceans and artificial islands, but it was the Xheng artificial cities that struck an interest in overseas colonies.

Keodians abroad took a great deal of interest in the Xheng construction methods, and the Sovereignty of Keodian became a heavy investor into Xheng businesses, primarily into PetroEnerGen. There are rich offshore oil reserves within Keodian waters that they had yet to exploit. With an agreement with PetroEnerGen
