Introduction

Okanama City, official known as the Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune of Okanama City, is a small, independent city that lies on the Okanaman peninsula of the southeastern part of the Alcaeran coastline.

It was originally founded as the town of Rouen, the colony of New Paristan, after colonists captured the peninsula from Raissan alliance during a series of active wars in 1773. During the Francestani colonial period, Rouen served as a base for anti-colonial sentiment and was one of the first places to rise up against Francestan during the Paristani war of independence in 1789. After winning independence, the town experienced a massive expansion as the population of 100,000 jumped to over 1,234,000 and increasingly became a profitable port of trade.
