The Federation of Geevesustekastanilonia was created in March of 2005, after plans first being put down in December of 2004 for the creation of the nation. The nation consists of a reasonably small island in the South Atlantic Ocean.
History
Geevesustekastanilonia, during the first stages of planning in December 2004, was originally given the much longer name of "Geevesustekastanilonianiatropolislandaviada" by its founders, Giles Crisfield, Lucas Wagner, and Martin Kaiser. The name was shortened after its official creation due to size constraints. After the picking out of a suitable place for the nation, the next step was creating a capital. The capital, in the west section of the nation, was named "G" by Wagner due to its "appropriateness". Wagner, the driving force behind the nation's creation, designed the government system, and put forth the basic ideals the country was founded on.
