Acapais is a free and peaceful nation located in the Atlantian Oceania region.

Other nations around the globe envy the Acapans national pride. Its citizens love their country because of the near absence of prejudice and its peaceful minded government.

Geography

Terrain

Many geographers divide Acapais into three regions. Coastal Plains in the East. The Central Forests are just to the West of the Coastal Plains, and the Tale Mountains are on the Western border.

Climate

Very warm at the Coastal Plains. Temperatures get as high as 40 degrees Celsius in the summer and 20 in the winter and as low as 20 degrees Celsius in the summer and 10 in the winter. High precipitation all year round, about 3.1 meters per year. Humidity near 80% all the time and very windy all year. Mildly warm inland around the Central Forests. Temperatures get as high as 30 degrees Celsius in the summer and 15 in the winter and as low as 15 degrees Celsius in the summer and 5 in the winter. Precipitation above average in the forests, about 2.3 meters per year. Humidity is average 40% year round and almost windless. Cool up in the mountains. Temperatures get as high as 20 degrees Celsius in the summer and 5 in the winter and as low as 5 degrees Celsius in the summer and -20 in the winter. Precipitation below average in the mountains, about 0.9 meters per year. Humidity is a low 5% year round and windless.

History

Exiled

In 1550 the Acapans lost the great war to the Mundugras. The Mundugras killed the entire family of Rothings the royal family of the time and sent the rest of the Acapans into exile. The remaining Acapans marched six thousand miles and settled in the swamps southwest of Acapais. This path was know as the Trail of Tears.

Revenge

In 1761 Pablo Bernal was born and was promoted to general of the Acapan people in 1783. For ten years he raised and trained the most tactical army of that time. Pablo Bernal and every last native Acapan, marched to their homeland and restarted the war with Mundugras. The "War of Destiny" lasted for seven years and although the Acapans were outnumbered eight to five, in 1800 the Mundugras were defeated. Acapais was reclaimed to the native Acapans.

Post War

Since the War of Destiny, an overwhelming majority of the Acapais citizens wanted to abdicate war from the budget. Pablo Bernal, who became Supreme Minister immediately following the war, disagreed for he felt national defense was most important. But six years after becoming the minister, Pablo Bernal died of pneumonia. Pablo's son, Jesus, became the second Supreme Minister of Acapais. Jesus set exceptional precedents of doing what the people want and doing what is best for the people.

Government

Political System

There are few government officials because there are no political divisions. The Supreme Minister is in full control of the nation, but has never in the history of Acapais abused his or her power. Federal political leaders are elected but candidates are always nominated from the royal family. The current family is the Bernal family. The Current Supreme Minister is Jesse Bernal.

Foreign Relations

Acapais does not participate in the United Nations because it feels threatened by the Nuclear and Chemical Weapons talks a few in 2005. Acapais is such a small nation and has very little regional influence. Acapais is not well known except amongst themselves and the World Cup competitors.
