The Republic of Boldinia was founded in 1964 after it gained independence from the United States of Edward City. Boldinia is well known for it's armamentistic program.
History
In 1964, after many pressures from manifestors, the 27th July 1964, the President of the USEC gave independence to Boldinia. In 1965, the newly created Republic of Boldinia organised it's first democratical elections, but this did not last many. The 11th November 1968, an Air Force fighter jet shot down the President's Airplane, killing President Roger Ridgson and the President of Edward City, Antoni Suau, who lost elections two weeks ago and was about to leave it's position. After the incident, General Michael Miller, who ordered to shoot down the president's airplane, blamed the Ibis Island indepenentists for the killing. Two days after the "coup", General Miller declared himself President of the Republic of Boldinia.
