Britannia Parvus is a small country in the region of England, situated between Drayko and Kratauria.

Social

Britannia Parvus is a class-based society, with rigid lines between the classes. On top are the nobility: the Dukes, Marquises, Earls, Viscounts, and Barons, as well as the Royal Family. Aristocratic titles are hereditary.

Politics

The Kingdom is ruled by His Royal Majesty the King, a hereditary title. The King has absolute power and rules by Divine Right - that is, he is purportedly elected by God, and is the head of the Ecclesia Britanniae Parvi. The King passes laws, chooses Parliamentary Officers, and acts as the final court of justice.

However, most of the actual government of the country is enacted by the Parliament of Britannia Parvus. This consists of 176 Parliamentary Officers (POs) who, organized into tight political parties, debate bills brought before them, making amendments before the bill moves to the King for final legalization.

Language

The official, and most widely spoken, language of Britannia Parvus is English. However, the church (Ecclesia Britanniae Parvi) and the aristocracy (including Parliament) use Latin for most writing - correspondence, official documentation, or any other written form - and are expected to speak Latin fluently.
