owiavi first came to international attention when, at 17 and working as an apprentice electrician with the Deddick Monorail Authority, que was plucked out of obscurity by the Errinundera Football Association to receive a footballing scholarship to study at the University of Rêvane in Ariddia.

Concerning Gender and the Renunciation of a Dissolute Life
owiavi was the second publicly declared genderqueer, after rosaniel, to play for Errinundera. Que was well known for quer sexual libertarianism, living what many conservative commentators considered to be a dissolute life. It therefore came as a tremendous shock when owiavi resigned from the team, converted to Russian Orthodoxy, defected to The Archregimancy and took the name of Brother David of the Woods.

The Orthodox monks needed reassurance that Brother David was genuinely repentant and genuinely male. After examining him thoroughly he was accepted as a brother and sent into Arctic monastery of Solovetsky to live in austerity and pennance. This he did joyfully.
