What is it?

Cannadiar is an island in the Arctic, It's nearest 'Neighbour' is Prussiatopia It is the founding member of the Jamon-Jil-Jallon commonwealth containing three islands (Cannadiar, Sweedun and Angleine)

It has a population of 400 million and has huge areas that are protected (National Forest of which comprises of 39% of Cannadiar and is located in the centre. Although ancient cannadiarians cut down 5% of it.) It contains 13 counties.

It's Capital is Breham with a population of 85 million (22 million in Broke Bay, the most densely populated area in Cannadiar)

History

Remained Uninhabited until a ship from England Landed upon it's shored. Later Japanese and Swedish Ships landed.

The south comprised of English and North of Japanese and Swedish. The Japanese and Swedish Formed peace and lived together. in 360BP (before Pi) The War of Pondria broke out. The northern tribes fought the southern English tribes until 287BP when peace was called and Cannadiar was split into two. Unease lingered until 11BP when another war broke out, The War of Pi. The Pi tribe in the north had united all the northern tribes and aimed to unite all of Cannadiar under the flag of Pi.

The Pi tribe were outnumbered but were fierce warriors as an account by William Sallow, Lieutenant of the 26th regiment southern Cannadiar forces who later retired to Eemo.

in the following 11 years the Pi tribe moved down and united the lands. It was estimated that only 4 more battles were fought in this time. In 0BP/AP Cannadiar was united and the fist flag of Cannadiar Made (A tree with a large red ancient Cannadiarian Symbol)

The Cannadiarian Empire at its peak owned Cannadiar and Sweedun and Angleine, Both got their independance in the 800's (824 + 866)

In 1079AP (Cannadiarian years are counted from the year that the first Dynasty of Pi was formed), The government leader (Cham-Il, Evil Democratic Green Party 1071 - 1084) took action against the plans to destroy the Forest and gave certain areas different codes so that it was understanded what the land could be used for.
