The Capitalizt SLANI League is one of two domestic football league systems in the Unified Capitalizt States, along with the 자스연 리그 (Jasīʼyūn Ligī). It was created by Capitalizt SLANI in 96 CE, and currently consists of forty-six teams. The league runs a cup competition, the TakilQuip Cup, a single-elimination tournament played by the top thirty-two teams, and a three-level league system, the top level of which is the International Association Football League and, in seasons in which the IAFL does not run, the SLANI International League.
History
The Capitalizt SLANI League began with a single league competition, the C4 Champions League, consisting of twenty teams. In 97 CE, for the second season, the league expanded to twenty-two teams, and the first TakilQuip Cup was played between the top sixteen teams from last season. The league expanded again in 99 CE, to twenty-four teams. In 102 CE, the Πόρτο-Χε Δολοφόνοι (Pórto-Khe Dolophónoi) won the league title, the only time since the first season that the Sonoma Center Panthers have not won. In 104 CE, due to intense competition with the 자스연 리그 (Jasīʼyūn Ligī), the system was expanded again, this time to forty-six teams, and the decision was made to join the IAFL. The IAFL became the new top division of the league system, and the top six finishers in the 105 CE season were promoted to it. The twenty-two new teams formed a third division, the Bluefox Axtra League. Since the IAFL split into two conferences at this time, a new system had to be devised to determine the winner of the league title. A playoff was held between the top finisher in each conference, which Sonoma Center won over the 쇼코 폭격기즈 (Syoko Poggyūggijī), their ninth league title in ten seasons. The same two teams made the playoff in the next season, but 쇼코 (Syoko) won the match, their first title. In 109 CE, an additional forty-four teams were added by expanding the C4 Champions League to 24 teams and adding two new divisions to the Bluefox Axtra League.
