Capitalizt Era
The Capitalizt Era (CE) is a calendar based on the year (not the date) of the Unified Capitalizt States’s declaration of independence from the Überkapitaliztrepublik of Commerce Heights. Like other Capitalizt calendars, there are 7 months in each year, each of which have 30 days. It was first used by the Unified Capitalizt States during the Capitalizt Revolution, to contrast itself with the Überkapitaliztrepublik, which used the Terranordalis Era (TE) calendar. After the fall of the Überkapitaliztrepublik, the UCS adopted the TE calendar, and it officially switched to this standard when Jack Dalton was elected as the nation’s CEO in 4 CE. When Commerce Heights moved Paripana so it could join Atlantian Oceania on 1 January 61 CE, CEO Matthew Sparks deemed the TE system unsuitable, and officially switched back to the CE system.
The year 0 CE is equivalent to 18 TE or 58 CHE.
