Capitalizt Super Cup

The Capitalizt Super Cup is a Capitalizt football tournament between the winners of the league and cup competitions held by Capitalizt SLANI and 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn).

History

The idea of the Capitalizt Super Cup began in 101 CE, when the Sonoma Center Panthers and Port Lusambo Paladins were the undisputed champions of their respective leagues. The teams arranged a friendly, the first inter-league match in Capitalizt football history, and Port Lusambo won 6–2. This result was later recognized as the first Super Cup. Since then, the tournament has been contested by the winners of the Capitalizt SLANI League, TakilQuip Cup, 자스연 리그 (Jasīʼyūn Ligī), and 자스연 컵 (Jasīʼyūn Kūb). To date, Port Lusambo has won every Super Cup, and has not conceded a goal to any team other than Sonoma Center.

Format

The format changes from year to year, as it is common for a single team to win two titles in one season. When two teams are involved, a single match is played between them. When three teams are involved, the two teams from the same league play in a semifinal, and the winner plays the third team. When four teams are involved, the SLANI league champion plays the 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) cup champion and vice versa, the only format that does not guarantee a final between teams from different leagues.
