The original Cookeslandic Ambassador to the UN was Janvier Solana, who emigrated to Cookesland after a revolution in his native Aurania-Shifre forced him out of his job as Foreign Minister. He served very briefly before he passed away on March 11, 2007 and for a time after he was replaced by temporary Ambassadors David Swansea and Lostelle Caelia. Soon it became apparent to have a permanent delegate and so the job interviews began.

After mind warpingly long interviews, a mysterious person known only as The Blue Eyed Man was hired. Cookeslandic Secretariat of State Steven Andolor was later quoted as saying "He's the only one we were totally confidant in". In these same interviews a Deputy Ambassador was found, Dr. Fiore Acquerello of the Port Imbris University of Medicine was hired to assist the UN Ambassador.
