Prince Daniel David Rastaban is the eldest child, and son of Queen Julie the Thrid and and the late King David of Rastaban. Older brother to Queen Cora of Rastaban. In Rastaban the throne passed from mother to daughter, so Daniel was passed up for it. He does not feel slighted by this, however, seeing what his sister has been through. Queen Cora is Daniel's younger sister and only full-blooded sibling. He currently resides in Rastaban, at the palace, working as a type abassidor/prime minister to various countries Rastaban has come into contact with.
At the Academy his studies catered to stone and mind magics. Daniel is very strong at detecting auras also. He almost dropped out though when he was 15 after a three day argument with Prince Al'ver. The reason as to why he changed his mind has never been revealed.
He's a kind young man, and believe in chivarly. He thinks that a man should awlays treat a woman with respect and if there is a good cause, then fight for it. He's an excellent dancer, and though not a "party animal" does like to attend occasional party. He is protective of Queen Cora and his cousin, Lady Kishar Etain.
In 2003 he set out to woo the goddess Eris, but instead fell in love with Washu from The Resi Corporation, whom he met there. He was very happy with Washu, though sadly the couple gradually grew appart because of various business they had to attend to.
In February of 2005 he was elected Mayor of New Avalon, the capital of Rastaban.
