Das Viertes Reichsland's geography is dominated by tall mountains, the Rhine River, and it's small plains to the north. It's animal species are mostly large mammals, such as deer, boars, and wolves, but smaller animals such as badgers, weasels, foxes, hares, and snakes can be found throughout the nation. Only one venomous species of snake lives in the area, that being the adder. The national animal, Godzilla, is there due to an accidental introduction of the species.

The government is a dictatorship, run by the benevolent dictator-for-life Katie Armstrong, who heads the Neo-Nationalist party. The previous government was a poorly designed democracy, which attracted mainly corrupt swindlers who would only stay in office for around 8 to 10 months before being thrown out of office for inactivity and embezzling and elections were held again. Within one hour of her inaguration, the 'Fraulein Führer' had nullified the entire existing system and rebuilt it from the ground up, bringing about the current system in place now.

The country is distinctly Socialist. The currency is the Mark, the denominations being the Half-Mark, Quarter-Mark, and the Decimark. Private businesses flourish, and military service is compulsory, resulting in one of the largest armies in the world in comparison to population. Das Viertes Reichsland boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the world, especially amongst the youth, thanks to a strong education system and a high rate of enrollment at private schools. The predominating religion is Christianity, mainly Protestants.

Das Viertes Reichsland was seperated from Germany shortly after World War Two, and is still distinctly German, the most obvious ties being their many festivals and parades. Oktoberfest is celebrated, and is well known in the region for having the best beer halls, the largest located in Hauptstadt, the capital city. There are many parades held to celebrate holidays, important historic events, and just because, usually featuring a military procession to display the nation's power, and to 'keep the neighbors from getting any ideas.'

The people are generally quite friendly, though slightly wary of tourists, especially the ones who don't speak German, one of the official languages. National pride is almost palpable as you walk down the street, with flags and banners flying everywhere, and patriotic music playing over the National Emergency Broadcast megaphones in the streets. Most children will be in uniform, as even the public schools require one, though the children attending the private schools must adhere to a strict dress code, including regulations on how high your socks must be pulled up, how you must tie your tie, ect. down to how the boys must have their hair combed.

People generally get along, more so than ever after the new government helped stabilize the economy and brought the value of the Mark up within months of the initiation of the new plan for the repair of the economy. Nearly everyone attends their respective church on Sunday, turning even the capital city into a ghost town until service lets out. The national slogan is 'Wir sind klein, aber mächtig' (We are small, but mighty), and the national animal is the falcon.
