Geography

Disturnn is a nation made up of 7 large islands and thousands of much smaller islands. Disturnn has also colonized many islands in the world, many abandoned after Disturnn's Corporations have used up all the resources. The 6 largest islands are completely urban/industrialized with no room whatsoever for agriculture. The 7th largest island(the province of Häskburg) is used as a paradise for recreation and hiking with nature untouched. Disturnn's largest mountains are on Häskburg, as well as the largest lake(in Disturnn) and some of the largest trees in the world. This is also the only known area that the Disturnn Wolf is said to currently live. Disturnn was unfortunate to be located in a area with little resources. Most of Disturnn's food is imported. Despite lacking of luck in the area of crops, Disturnn has been lucky to be blessed with other important resources such as oil located near the largest and most populated island (the province of Kommtenauf).

Provinces

Disturnn is divided into 13 provinces. From largest to smallest(in land area) with the capital city in brackets beside it.

Government

Disturnn is a often classified by the UN as a "Corporate Police State" though Disturnn often classify's itself as a "Corporate People's Democracy". The Government is a large Corporation located in the largest building in Disturnn, and one of the largest in the world. Despite the menacing look, the building is often considered a wonder of the world, and despite this "Corporation" being government owned, the rest of Disturnn is privitised. The Government has a One-Party system, though the members of the Senate are elected individuals within the area they represent. The Senate has 832 seats, and all members own at least one Corporation. The Emperor(currently Sic der Meister) is the Head of State and the Head of Government, as well as the Commander in Chief of the military. The Emperor however does not have dictator powers, most decisions are brought up in the Senate, votes taken and added up, and whatever decision has the most votes is the final decision. All 832 members(the Emperor is included) vote in decisions, and in the case of a tie-breaker, the Emperor's vote counts as 2 instead of 1. In times of war, the Emperor can take a Dictatorship position for a maxiumum of 6 months at a time, on which after this the Senate decides whether the Emperor should stay in this position. The Emperor does not vote in this case, and a minimum of 55% "Jah" votes is required in order for the Emperor to stay in Dictatorship power. A new Emperor is voted in every 10 years by the people, while still retaining the One Party System. Things that voters are looking for in a good Emperor include his success in life, the new policies he wishes to bring, and things such as Family Status and Honour are also looked upon.

Demographics

Disturnn is a multi-cultural nation. Disturnn recognizes 6 distinct races and further breaks down those races into over 1342 minority groups. The 6 races are Kaukasian(in RL;White), Obiriental(in RL;East Asian/South East Asian), Jokohav(in RL;East Indian), Menlok(in RL;Hispanic), Schleiften(in RL;Black), and Häst(in RL;Other, including Native American, Pacific Islander, other minorities)

Despite Häsk being native to the Disturnn islands, over time the joint Germänisch and Korian invaders took over the islands and peacefully settled the island together. Immigrants from other lands brought the other groups to Disturnn, who also settled peacefully. Disturnn has a firm policy against racism, and is probably one of the most tolerant nations in the world despite it being fiercely Conservative.

Economy

Disturnn takes great pride in its affluent and high-tech economy. Once a rural land with isolated tribes sparcely populating the islands, Disturnn is now an industrial and commercial power. The largest composition in the economy is Services(83%), followed by industry(at 17%) with virtually no agriculture due to poor soils and nearly no room. The primary industry of Disturnn remains the Automobile industry(Eisbrecher), followed by Insurance(1 Life), and the Arms Manufactoring Industry(Wolf Arms). Seconondary industries include Software, Information, Electronics, Entertainment, Textiles, and Toys. Disturnn takes great pride in it's influent Entertainment industry with an average of one movie studio per square mile(in Aeri only). Disturnn's Automobile industry is one of the largest in the world, and Disturnn is known for it's extremely fancy and luxury cars. The most well-known manufactorer is Eisbrecher Kar, with some cars costing millions of Vachtings. It has often been joked that the majority of engineers designing the cars can't even afford them. Disturnn's Software industry is also extremely influent and powerful, with many large Software companies being based in Aeri. The most well-known is Bio-Web, whose headquarters is one of the largest buildings in Aeri. Tourism also plays a major role in the economy, with approximately 73 million visitors a year, mostly for business reasons. Disturnn is known for its many Corporations, and is often critisized by Socialists nations for its growing gap between the rich and poor. Despite this, Disturnn has a high employment rate, and very high quality of life. Economic growth remains at a steady 7.5%, and Disturnn is ranked as one of the most Economically Free nations in the world.

Language

Disturnn has no Official Language under the Equal Language Act, on which all languages are considered equal. Despite this, almost all signs are in either Germänisch or Korian. All schools teach in Germänisch with Korian classes mixed in between. Nearly every citizen is fluent in both of these languages. Even still, Germänisch remains the dominant language with all provinces named in Germänisch text, and most cities(except those with Korian majorities) being named in Germänisch. This was not however done to make any other ethnic group to feel inferior, and the Government has recently passed the Even More Equal Language Act, which will start promoting the idea of signs and literature in other languages, as well as setting up 17 new Newspapers to be distributed all over Disturnn in different minority languages. The Korian language will have greater emphasis in school, and all new cities will be named using a different text.

Military

Disturnn places a huge emphasis on honour, a tradition passed on by Korians to the Germänisch. Therefore a great emphasis on the military is placed. Disturnn drafts all males between the ages 18 - 25 into the Reserve Force(Disturnn Reserviert Warmachtin) for 2 years. All unemployed workers are forced to join the Primary Force(Disturnn Programmeirt Warmachtin), though unemployment can never be fully abolished. Drafted soldiers sign many contracts stating their roles within the Disturnn Warmachtin. Most draftees are limited to defensive roles on the island, though a contract for a offensive position can be signed. The benefits to offensive role include higher pay, better food, and more insurance. Disturnn's Warmachtin is divided into 5 branches. The main branch being the Disturnn Kaiserlich Groundtroopin(Imperial Army), which has approximately 700,000 troops. The next largest branch being the Disturnn Kaiserlich Marine(Imperial Navy) which has 600,000 troops. The third largest branch being the Disturnn Kaiserlich Luftinmacht(Imperial Airforce) which has 500,000 men. The fourth largest branch is the Disturnn Kaiserlich Stormmtroopin(Imperial Stormtroopers) which has 100,000 soldiers. The last branch being the Disturnn Kaiserlich Sprechwarmachtin(Special Force) on which the number of troops employed is unknown though it is often estimated at around 6000 - 10,000 troops. The Army uses the Disturnn standard WOLFF370; a multi-purpose assault rifle. The Army has approximately 8000 heavy armoured tanks, the standard tank being the T-EAGLE. Disturnn's Army is often considered a "moderately trained" force, and is often found around the higher middle for best trained in the world. However Disturnn's snipers(using the FALCONN-L3X 50.cal Sniper Rifle) are considered one of the best in the world, and can be found in the top 20. The Disturnn Navy has around 18 aircraft carriers, 100 nuclear powered submarines, 32 destroyers, 92 frigates, and hundreds of much smaller ships. The Disturnn Airforce has around 4000 aircraft, though many pilots are often found to bring in their own private jet fighters as well(it's legal). Disturnn's Stormtroopers are often considered the Senior Police Force, or Junior Special Forces. The Stormtroopers are the most well-known to the public, as they are often seen guarding large Corporations, federal buildings, and are sent in at protests, rallies, and terrorists situations. The Stormtroopers carry an upgraded version of the WOLFF370 called the WOLFF400A, which carries more ammo, while using larger rounds, and has an attachable scope and laser. Disturnn's Special Forces are considered the Senior Special Forces(Stormtroopers being junior). Disturnn's Special Forces wear the same uniform as the Stormtroopers, however their armour is black instead of red. The Specialforces use a new weapon called the CLAW90; a short semi-auto 50.cal assault rifle. This weapon however is not used in overseas deployment, and any other information about the Specialforces remains unknown. The Disturnn military all use full-body armour outfits, including a helmet(with their face totally hidden). Disturnn has been critisized for this, often mocked as "re-living Star Wars". More serious critisisms include that the armour gives the troops a non-human look, taking away all emotion and expressions from them. Disturnn ignores these comments, and has often "mistakenly" dropped a bomb on the countries that mock it. Disturnn easily gets away with it though, especially since Disturnn's Corporations have "taken over" most smaller nations. All of Disturnn's weapons are manufactored by Wolf Arms, while most military vehicles(ships included) are manufactored by Diefenbaker Mächt, and smaller and lighter armoured vehicles are manufactored by Eisbrecher.

Education

Disturnn has a mandatory public education system, though every person has the choice of the much better Private schooling(which the Government promotes). Disturnnians start school at the age of 4 in grade 1. Junior Highschool starts in grade 6, and Senior Highschool begins in grade 11. Students graduate in either grade 14 or 15(college or university). Studies have found that Disturnnians excel at History, Politics, Business, and Programming classes while lagging in Science, English, and Family studies. Corporal punishment is legal in schools, and most teachers have served in the military. Disturnn has usually been found in the upper-middle areas for "Education", but recent IQ tests have shown Disturnnians in the top 20. Korians and Germänisch often score higher IQ results than those of those ethnic groups. Reasons behind it include poverty, or that most of the other ethnic groups are found in isolated island areas, where education is much worst compared to the high quality found in the main 7 provinces.

Law

Disturnn puts most of its budget towards security and law enforcement. This was a recent move by the Government. Before this, Disturnn was a developing nation that was being destroyed by crime and a police force with no morale. Eventually a new Emperor was elected who put a huge % of the Government budget to Law Enforcement, which eventually brought order to the nation, and has made Disturnn one of the safest nations in the world. Most crimes are now committed by homeless or unemployed people. The death penalty is used frequently, and Disturnn has laws towards most things in society. Smoking and homosexual activity are banned. Marijuana and other dangerous substances are fully illegal, and those caught trafficking can be shot on sight. Disturnn has a very efficient justice system, and most trials are done within a month(even the most serious of crimes). Recent immigrants can be deported back to their nation. Torture has been used on war criminals, and many other weird punishments exist in Disturnn's law. More critism of Disturnn is found here, where Disturnn has been accused of taken prisoners, and abandoning them on a isolated desert island. Some prisoners have managed to somehow escape, and others have been forced into canniblism. Despite this, the public is aware of the law, and they obey it. There is no denial that Disturnn has one of the most efficient law and order systems in the world.

Major Cities

  • Aeri - (pop.52 million) Aeri is the largest city in Disturnn, occupying a large area on Kommtenauf. Aeri is home to some of the largest Corporations in the world, many movie studio's, and is a paradise for entertainment. Aeri has extremely low taxes, and is one of the cities in Disturnn with 100% privite education. The GDP of Aeri is $2.9 trillion(nearly 30% of the nations total). The GDP Per capita being $56,000. Poverty is totally unknown, and no one is lower than middle-class. Over 2081 billionaire's live in Aeri(the nation has around 3000 known billionaires). Aeri is also the Capital City where the Senate and Emperor's Palace is based.
  • Samsunga - (pop.8 million) Samsunga is the largest city with a Korian majority and the third largest city in Disturnn. Samsunga is located in Unheilig Lande, and is in the northern tip of the largest island(with Keiburg in the south). Samsunga is home to many Information Technolodgy giants, and also the TV Manufactorer giant called Nobishi. The city has 20 billionaires.
  • Omph - (pop. 4 million) Omph, despite being a tiny dot on a map, and the sixth largest city in Disturnn, it is still considered the fourth most important city in Disturnn.Omph is located on Vieltiefenlande, and the city covers the whole island(a small island). Omph has developed a new way of building. They build up. Omph has larger skyscrapers than Neu Frankfurt and Samsunga. The second, third, and fourth largest buildings are in Omph. Omph surprising has a Korian majority, despite the province being Germänisch, and the city's name being Germänisch. Many rivers run through, and is nicknamed the "Loner City" because it is completely surrounded by water for miles. This tiny city amazingly has 201 billionaires.

Social Problems

Disturnn has officially declared three major social problems. 

1. The Gap between the rich and the poor

Disturnn has the largest gap between the rich and the poor in the whole region. Critism involved include Disturnn's Corporation friendly policies, the extreme military policies, and the often "On your own" policies as well. Disturnn has been named as one of the most extreme nations(in the top 800). Disturnn however ignores these critisms, and has its own way of getting out. 

2. Extremism

Disturnn has much extremism when it comes to military and nationalist policies. Disturnn has many times "accidentally" bombed nations who critisize it, and often gets away due to Disturnn's military ties with much more powerful nations. Disturnn has many policies that many consider discriminated, but Disturnn feels as "fair". The often harsh and extreme policies motivate people to be ambitious and to try their hardest in everything they do. 

3. Civil War

The provinces Wäßerundfeuerlande and Kahn have both Seperatists movements. These two provinces are the poorest in the Empire, and often feel ignored and neglected by the rest of Disturnn. Not only that, but these provinces also tend to have more left-leaning beliefs, such as caring for the poor, and over-taxation. Disturnn has had to send Stormtroopers in several times to keep order in protests and hate-speeches. Over 534 soldiers(from all branches) and 6402 civillians have been killed in the conflict in the past 50 years since the movements have begun.

Foreign Policy

Disturnn has a fierce and nationalistic foreign policy. Disturnn often tries to force others into becoming states with similiar governments. Disturnn has a pro-Imperialism policy, and often takes control of small nations that are too weak to defend against the powerful Disturnn military. The Corporations often act as small nations themselves, invading countries, and sucking all resources out. Many left-leaning nations(and even some moderate right-wing nations) critisize Disturnn for such practises, as well as forced labour camps, child slavery, and torture to those who do not abide. Disturnn's often accidental bombings have also caused controversy, and nations are actually starting to suspect Disturnn of purposing dropping the bombs. Disturnn declares that it has no nuclear weapon stock, but intelligence from other nations show that Disturnn does indeed have nuclear weapons hidden in many secret bases. Despite this often harsh first-look, Disturnn has in fact industrialised nations. Nations that were once third-world and harsh deserts have turned into miniature commercial centers. Disturnn also often gives out aid(to nations it favours) and when a ally is in great need of an ally, Disturnn has always shown up.

Disturnn's closest allies in Conservative Paradise include: 

*The Holy Republic of Aramek

Aramek is probably the closest nation to Disturnn in terms of moral beliefs and government style. Disturnn is more likely to run to Aramek's defense than Rephias' defense. 

*The Borderlands of Dephspare

Disturnn is impressed by Dephspare's laissez-faire system, and looks at it as an inspiration. 

*The Armed Republic of GopDrager

GopDrager's racial similiarities to Disturnn's Germänisch have led these nations down a path of good relations. 

*The Esteemed Commonwealth of Sarcodina

Disturnn favours Sarcodina's policies of Corporations donating huge sums of money to favoured political parties. Disturnn practises this too, except it only has one party. 

*The Kingdom of St Edmund

Disturnn shares a large door-to-door insurance sales industry with St Edmund. Disturnn sees St Edmund's capitalist success as a light for all. 

*The Armed Republic of Ichar IX

Disturnn has nicknamed Ichar IX as "Disturnn Junior" and can often be found in the root of Disturnn Incar jokes. Despite this, they share corporate friendly beliefs. The President of Ichar IX is a good friend of the leader of Disturnn, therefore a close personal relationship can be found here. 

*The Republic of Rephias

Disturnn has nicknamed The Republic of Rephias as "Ichar IX Junior". Imagine how insulting that is. The leader of Rephias is brother to the leader of Disturnn, therefore they have a strong link.
