The Rogue Nation of East Akershus

Education

Education is a key part of The Rogue Nation of East Akershus, and is backed up by a promising book publishing industry.

Tuition is nearly free for citizens, and the fees for foreign students are also quite insignificant.

Leisure activities

General Aviation is a major lesure activity in East Akershus. AVGAS is government-subsidied, and this also goes for flight tuition.

Aerodromes are scattered all over the nation, and one can more or less constantly hear the soothing drone of an old piston overhead.

47% of the population above the age of 16 have the Private Pilots License. 63% of the population above the age of 14 are licensed to fly gliders.

The Party Liner DC-3 is also based in East Akershus.

Industry

As mentioned above, the private sector is lead by the book publishing industry. Following closely is the airline and aerial taxi business.

The trains, on the other hand, are old and steam driven. A speed limit of 110km/h has been imposed on all land vehicles in order not to threaten the airline industry.

Laws

  • Alcohol and marijuana is legal in the homes of EA citizens, as well as restaurants with proper permissions and on domestic flights and international flights were the destination country allows it. No vehicle or heavy equipment may be operated under the influence of any recreational substance. Shrooming is generally confined to the elderly, especially those living in eeirie old cottages in the woods, and are left alone by the law enforcement agencies.
  • Immigration laws are strict, but neutral
  • We don't have prisons, but the healthcare sector takes care of criminals by placing them in criminal mental asylums were they either agrees to become better persons, or get copious amounts of electroshock therapy
