Overview

The Principality of Forodren Annon is a narrow strip of land between Goobergunchia and Allanea in Haven. Originally part of the Goobergunchian province of Libertus, but was purchased by Bryn Shander shortly after the One Day War, in which Allanea invaded the isthmus for no apparent reason. During the invasion, the Allaneans destroyed much of the mostly uninhabited province.

Because of the constant threat of invasion and damage done by Allanea, it was no suprise when Goobergunchia decided to sell the province to Bryn Shander for just over $1 Billion USD. With the province in Bryn Shander's hands, Goobergunchia was forever free from invasion by land. Although Bryn Shander's reasons for purchasing the land is unknown, many theorize that it was for no other reason than to spite Allanea.

Geography

Forodren Annon is half of the narrow isthmus between Allanea and Goobergunchia, and seperates the Haven Strait and the Goobergunchian Sea. At roughly 300km from east to west and 240km from north to south, Forodren Annon is a hilly, mostly forested lowland, with small rivers making their way from the high hills in the center of the land to the sea to the west and the strait in the east.

Horano Canal

Before the sale, Goobergunchia began construction of a canal to connect the two bodies of water and seperate it's self from Allanea. Afterwards, Bryn Shander finished the canal, keeping it's original name. The Horano Canal was carved through the isthmus with a width of one mile, and a depth of one hundred feet. The canal is bordered on both sides by steep cliffs, which more or less prevent crossing by any means other than the single suspension bridge at the city of Horano. Further adding to the difficulty of crossing are the heavy fortifications planted on the north side.
