The Severe Improbability of Gigoland (also known as the Emirate of Gigoland) is an island emirate, and is the only known NS nation to lose and regain its ability to choose a unique prename. A serious NS breakdown happened only a few hours after Gigoland hit the population of 500 million and the prename "Emirate" was changed by the Emir, and NS could only be fixed using earlier data.

Gigoland was born in The West Pacific and has never left it. Its history in NS started when Minineenee became the regional delegate. Gigoland is a relatively new member of The West Pacific forums, and the youngest member of the Council of The West Pacific.

Gigoland currently has the 3rd largest number of endorsements in The West Pacific following the delegate and the regent.

National religion: There is no national religion. Most people and the government are non-religious or atheist. The rest is mostly Christian and Muslim. Religious organizations in Gigoland are being forced to leave the country or pay income taxes like everybody else.

Flag description: Horizontal black-white-green stripes, with a red star in the middle. Black, white and green are the ancient colors of Gigoland; black is color of people; white is color of peace; green is color of the land. The red star symbolizes the left-wing.

Climate: Wet oceanic in the Northwest, hot tropical in the South, subtropical elsewhere. Mild winters, hot summers. Both are cooler in the Northwest, and winter is also hot in the South. Mean yearly temperature: 21°C (70°F).

Terrain: Gigoland is an island. A few major and some minor islands surround the mainland. Plains with swamps in the South, low block-mountains in the North, hilly desert-like land in the West, and high mountains in the Central and East. Biggest lake: Lake Sumihueron, 7882 sq km (3043 sq miles). Longest river: the Lys river, 765 km (475 miles).

Government: Head: The Emir. Minister Council: consists of the 12 ministers. Senate: consists of delegates of the 15 caliphates, that of the Capital Territory (Terra'ux Capytalo) of Villeuxmille, and that of the Gigo Oversea Territory of Sexyco. The legislative power is the Congress, which consists of the Emir, the Minister Council, and the Senate (30 people).

Politics: To bring a left-wing utopia into existence, and abolish any kind of capitalism. All industry and agriculture is owned and run by the government. Political parties have recently been legalized, but there is hardly any considerable one of them. Strong anti-militarist politics. Gigoland is in alliance with the Great Republic of Harkinnen.

Background: On May 28, 1751 Captain Gigo Hebrentch united 8 separate states (Toronterras, Bedford, Wexford, Heteronotus, Vespiformes, Halloway, Titania and Unser), and became the first president of Gigoland (named after him). Throughout the years 7 other states entered the union. 150 years later, on Jan 1, 1900 President (Emir) Abelardo Kexberg changed the republic into an emirate, and its federated states into caliphates. On May 28, 2005, Emir Henry Mieux opened up the country toward the region and the world, and joined the United Nations.

Gigoland was admitted to the Grand Assembly of The West Pacific on July 7, 2005.

Gigoland was appointed to be The West Pacific Ambassador to the Allied Union of Nations on July 11, 2005.

Gigoland was admitted to the Council of The West Pacific on August 23, 2005.

Henry Mieux, the Emir has full powers, the 12 ministers of the Minister Council are his advisors, while the Senate has less importance. The Gigo Oversea Territory of Sexyco is fully a part of Gigoland, but does not count toward the data appearing here. Sexyco can be separately found in NS, it also resides in The West Pacific, although no one can now clearly remember what region it was founded in. People of Gigoland are party and music loving, funny people, but sometimes they are sarcastic or apathetic. Most of the population is young due to a relatively high birth-rate. Although public transport system is pretty well equipped, cars are very popular, thus driving in Gigoland can be dangerous due to often overcrowded roads and a lack of speed limit outside inhabited areas. Road traffic is on the left side (right-hand drive cars). The government concentrates on welfare, social equality and education. Gigoland has the self-proclaimed title of The Environmentally Most Stunning Nation, as environment protection is also an important issue. Gigoland lies in the South Central part of The West Pacific, it appears on The West Pacific Regional Map. Its closest neighbors are the Clockwork Isle, Sexagogo and Neandertron.

Gigoland has 6 colonies, all of which can be found in NS in different regions. These are: Angloxa, Exit Australia, Kretchnung, Sierra Tierra, Smarkerland and The Disgracelands.
