The Hellacious Nomadic Empire of Hellaciousism is an absolute monarchy, founded almost 500 years ago by Ragnar Hellacious, otherwise known as Ragnar I "The Odinist". It is currently ruled by Ragnar III of the Hellacious Dynasty and his wife, Garnet Anaxander. It is a unique nation that is composed of multiple islands that float in the sky, allowing the country to wander from region to region and anchor wherever it likes. Hellaciousism is currently a part of the region of Feudal Japan, owing to the emperor’s recent interest in feudal Japanese society.

History of Hellaciousism
The Hellacious Dynasty Rises To Power
Long ago, there were multiple floating islands in the sky. Each island was ruled by a duke, and all of the dukes were constantly fighting amongst one another for territory. One day, the people decided that they’d had enough. A merchant named Ragnar Hellacious, owner of a large fleet of mist-powered airships that he bought after winning it big on "Jeopardy!", led a rebellion, overthrew all of the dukes, and unified the floating islands. Legend has it that after the last duke was deposed, Ragnar stepped forward and proclaimed, “Damn… now what?” (This later became the motto of the nation.) He later declared that the islands would be unified as the Empire of Hellaciousism, and the people appointed him as Ragnar I, the new emperor.

Economy
The government has historically been very hands-off when it came to economics; however, when Ragnar III ascended to power, he began to institute social welfare policies and make laws preserving workers' rights while keeping business privatized. Culture
Ethnicity
The country has a very strong Germanic heritage, and a majority (about 65%) of the citizens have Germanic roots; however, there are also large amounts of other ethnic groups throughout the nation. A census was taken recently by the Hellacious Census Bureau, but the project leader later admitted to "pulling the numbers out of me[sic] ass", so there is no official estimate.
Religion
The Hellacious Dynasty's official religion is Odinism; however, the citizens of Hellaciousism have complete freedom of religion. A census conducted by an independent (and slightly more reliable than the Hellacious Census Bureau) organization found that 45% are neopagan, 17% are Buddhists, 10% are atheist or agnostic, 9% are Protestant Christians, and 5% are members of the Cult of the Peanut Butter & Jelly Banana. The remaining 9% are of other assorted faiths.
Language
The government recognizes two official languages, English and Nynorsk. English is mainly spoken on the southern islands of Hellaciousism, whereas Nynorsk is spoken farther north. Children are required to learn both languages in school. Government documents are required to be released in both languages as well.
