The Meritocratic Hippocracy of Hipposhire is a country in the far south of The New Meritocracy, and a citizen nation of the Meritocratic Senate. It shares a maritime border with Britishpeoples in the east and enjoys full control over naval routes into the south of the region. Hipposhire is divided into ten states, each operating partly autonomously under the control of government-appointed Prefects. The ten states, in descending order of population, are: Hippoburg (HB), Terra Hippo (TH), Mesopotamia (MP), Hippograd (HG), Aquatica (AQ), Hippopotamia (HP), Mesonautica (MN), West Reach (WR), Adria (AD) and Potamasia (PA).
