Inter-Spectrum Monorail
The Inter-Spectrum monorail is a transcontinental monorail service in The Spectrum. The service is built, maintained and run by Calumnius, although Domas-Porada supplies security forces for the monorail under project IMPACT.
Conception
The Calumnius monorail had been very successful for many years, but in a global age, the Calumnius administration knew it was not good enough to have a good monorail system in Calumnius, one across the entire Spectrum was required. Calumnius sought nations' cooperation and recieved it for phase one construction of the monorail.
Phase One
Phase One is the connection of Calumnius, I Know Better Than You and Dhatsun. This created a monorail that stretched from the West coast of the Spectrum to the East coast. The Phase One monorail has been in operation for a number of months and so far is a success. However a terrorist bomb did explode on an Inter-Spectrum monorail train as it travelled between Calumnius and I Know Better Than You, causing controversy over the system's security. Project IMPACT has so far proved successful in negating any further terrorist threats.
Phase Two
Phase Two is the newly opened monorail expansion to Sherylannia, Oldham Road, the Socialist Colony of Calumnius and Domas-Porada. Two long underwater tunnels were required to connect the SCC with Oldham Road and Domas Porada. So far the monorail has been a success, transit times between Calumnius Capital and the SCC have fallen to nine hours after being previously being in the region of two and a half days by ship.
Phase Three
Phase Three of the monorail was completed recently and connects most of the nations to the south of Calumnius together. Included in this phase is Undracor, Petersvillia, Sabrateur and Enthalpy Change. Only Daveanoyl Chloride is not connected from the mainland of this area. The completion of phase three marked the core complete phase of the monorail.
Phase Four
Phase will be the connection of all other Spectrum nations. It is expected to be the most difficult stage to complete, Nintenduu 64 has been especially resistant to monorail plans.
