Language

The Irish Families Official Language is English. There are obvious differences between the English that is spoken in IF from that which you would hear elsewhere. The way that it is spoken differs as well as the grammer. The differences are small but noticeable. Only an English teacher would catch the gramatical differences but the accent is noticeable by all those who talk to an IF citizen. The accent makes it hard to understand if you are not used to listening to it. It is a combination of all the accents brought to the country by the Irish Clans. The Northerners, Southerners, Plains Clan, and the Mountain Clans all brought their own accents into the mixture of what you would hear today if you spoke with a citizen of IF.

Military

1/3 of Irish Families population is fit to serve in its armed forces. Roughly only 1/20 of its population actually makes up the armed forces.

With a population of roughly 3.5 Billion people. Irish Families has just over 1 Billion people fit for the armed services but roughly only .16 Billion people are actually in the armed forces.

The seperation of these 160 Million people, in the differing branches of the IF Military, is still being calculated at the moment.

Environment

The Irish Families enviroment is in good shape overall. The only people who disagree are members of the radical interest group, Mother Earth. They wish for every man made creation to be demolished and destroyed and to have only the natural to be seen. To the far north of Irish Families is the National Park. It is well taken care of and only a certain amount of people are allowed on the park, to help the park rangers who have to take care of it. There are also very strict rules on how to dispose of trash while in the park, so strict that it is a federal offense if you do it incorrectly or even litter. The least appealing location in all of Irish Families are the oil fields in the Resource Provinces. Other than those the enviroment is well protected, but not to the extent that many may wish.

Economy

Irish Families economy is capitalist based with a few socialist programs. Including Unemployment, Welfare, and few others. The economy is centered around the idea that the best product, at the lowest price, is the most succesful. With this idea the Irish Families government tries to keep out of the business of trade as much as possible. The largest influence that the government has is the protection of small business from the largest businesses that fight for their rights to hold monopolies on their products if they are capable to do so.

The whole monopoly debate has been huge in Irish Families since one man owned the only communication network in one of the provinces and had jacked the prices so high only a select few in the rich upper class could afford to have even one line in their homes.

The largest economical legislation to soon be passed effects the way that the IF government collects the taxs from the people. The results of the debate will be posted at a later date.

Irish Automakers

A conglomerate of Automotive industries that work together to design and construct cars, planes, ships, subs, spacecraft, trains, helicopters, and robotic transports.

IF International

IF International is the largest banking system in all of Irish Families. If you go to any location that is deemed a town in all of Irish Families you are within the 20 mile radius of a IF International Bank.

Irish Transporting Company

A large transporting company that uses trains, trucks, planes, and ships to transport products of any size to the necessary locations.

Irish Air

The Irish Air company started out as a private company that leased planes to the rich. It has now grown to encompass both public and private as well as the production of its own aircraft.

ICom

Irish Communication Systems Company. An International Com company that consists of 7 primary facilities, based on all 7 continents, with smaller facilities spread out in differing countries. The main two mediums for communication used by ICom are their own satellites and fiber optic cables which run between their facilities.

IF Electrical

Produces home, office, industrial, and military appliances along with generators that range from portable to industrial.

Irish NUKES

Irish Nukes does not actually construct Nukes. It is privately owned military production company. They have their own R&D facilities as well as construction plants. They are the primary company that IF comes to with new ideas and production quotas.

Irish Fashion (McHale owned and operated)

Irish Fashion is owned by the McHale family. How their company is run is totaly unknown by those who are not McHales themselves. The history behind Irish Families is unknown and has many conspiracies surrounding the capital that funds it. As well as the ethics of those in charge.

Irish Pictures

Irish Pictures is the largest of the movie producing companies in Irish Families. 4 out of every 6 succesful films are produced by Irish Pictures. Their are many subsidaries of Irish Pictures which have been left out by the request of the Irish Pictures CEO.

Robotic Enterprises

Robotic Enterprises is the largest company in all of Irish Families which researches and produces robots. They range from small home appliances to Industrial sizes.

Irish Oil Drilling and Processing

IODP is an international company that bids on the rights to drill on oil fields, drills the oil, and processes the oil into the necessary byproducts. It started out as a drilling company which sold the unprocessed oil to large firms, but noticed that with the profit coming in that they could increase the size of the company.

Miscellaneous

Irish Families is the location of the Texas Space Elevator Head Quarters. It is located just north of the IF Capital, O'Cinneide. Irish Families is also the sitting Secretary of Space Affairs in Texas. Irish Families is the Founder of the Texas Board of Space Affairs, and currently holds the seat at the Head of the table as the SSA.
